App not working
Edit: My photos meet the guidelines. Clear pictures of my face with good lighting. No filters. No group photo. Nothing inappropriate. No good reason to supposedly reject my photos. So the problem is with the Bumble app, not with me.
I can’t get past the screen that asks me to upload 2 photos… please fix this issue that makes it impossible for me to use bumble bff. I also tried to use bumble bff in the regular bumble app, but you removed that option. Can’t sign up through my browser either.Show lessmoonsenshi

App doesn’t allow you to mass delete conversations. It only allows you to delete conversations one at a time and automatically refreshes, taking the user to the top of the page. Unmatching doesn’t always work and I still see the person in my conversations. It’s a waste of time and super glitchy. Bumble BFF also doesn’t protect women on the app from predators either. Bumble allows THOUSANDS of straight, SINGLE cis gender men select their gender as “woman” in order to get only women matches. These men are inflitrating safe spaces of women for ulterior motives (using BFF for romantic and hookup reasons). Disgusting how this app doesn’t care about women who only want to use the app for platonic friends. Keeps happening, I’ve see 35 straight, single men on my feed within 20 minutes on the app. Reporting them doesn’t work either!! It says I need more proof — then why are straight cis men selecting their gender as female in order to only talk to women and not men!? Improve the vetting process.Show lessKaye24-

I've been using Bumble for months with no issues! Then all of the sudden I am logged out and my account is blocked out of nowhere, no warning, no anything! I read the community guidelines throughly and know I didn't do anything to break any of the rules. I contacted bumble support and I absolutely got no help. I felt like I was talking to a robot. Not only did I receive the same exact responses twice, but I was provided no real explanation over what happened, and absolutely no solution, then was told that I would no longer be getting a reply after 2 messages. If it was real people helping then they would see that there's nothing wrong with my profile. It is a shame because I enjoyed using Bumble until this unfair issue/ treatment arose!
Update: Contacted Bumble support again via Twitter or X and still get the same responses I got via email. There was no real solution provided or no real reasoning as to why I got blocked. No appeal process, no way to access/ see your account to confirm that you didn't go against community guidelines. And after 2 messages they say that they won't be responding anymore. I’ve mostly really enjoyed this app, but I have one complaint and it’s a big one. If I “like” or “super swipe” someone, it cannot be undone. I have accidentally swiped the wrong way multiple times before even getting to look at a profile. I’m on this app partly because I have social anxiety, and this makes it easier for me to find friends and chat through a screen before having to meet irl. So, accidentally swiping the wrong way and then not being able to undo it gives me so much anxiety. I know this is an issue for others as well because there are plenty of videos and threads about it all over the internet. Bumble BFF, please fix this! It was great while I could use the app. Until my account was blocked out of nowhere. I waited it out to see if it would unblock itself. It did not. So about a month after realizing I was blocked I finally tried to get in touch with support. It took them a few emails to even figure out which account was mine. And once they did all they said was that it was PERMANENTLY blocked and how I was violating community guidelines. So in return I asked how I violated any guideline bc I read back through them multiple times and I know for a fact I didn’t. I was barely on the account so I didn’t talk much to anyone, my pictures were appropriate. My name was correct and same with my age. They refused to give me a reason why other than I violated the guidelines and then basically said it was the end of the conversation. I would not recommend for the pure fact that anyone could go through this. Being excited to make friends at 25 when it’s hard to make them in everyday life and being shut down completely to the idea of it. Without giving anyone an opportunity to appeal any reports made upon you is insanity. Bumble bff could do better, or bumble support in general.Show lessEgarwood

I love the app and it is a great way to be able to meet friends. However, the app just needs some improvements: it is too easy to accidentally swipe left or right, there’s no clear indication when your likes are running out/have run out/have come back and needs an archive chat option.Fairy77788

There’s barely anyone on this app and the ones that are, are secretly looking for fun or just endless chat then block you when you suggest meeting IRL. Some features are missing, such as being able to archive a chat, seeing a list of people just outside your filters without having to keep amending the filters as you end up getting too many people from too far away. Especially if you were originally not, then download this and watch your self worth plummet before your eyes. Bumble, and dating apps in general have always had a way of ruining my self esteem and making me more depressed than I ever was before. This is no different, if not worse somehow. The girls I’ve talked to on the original BFF mode were some of the worst types of humans I’ve known, girls always are fake with me and secretly jealous, and I get tired of lowering myself for others. I’d rather be alone atp. I will give that they do reply, at least the first time, but then ghost coz idk nothing in common/no interest but I did make a “friend” that doesn’t seem to want friends, coz she has a husband and kids… which you’ll see a LOT of on here.
