Way too many ads but I mean I think thatβs because I donβt have the premium but other than the ads itβs great as Iβve been having great sleep and I have been a lot less stressed during the day.
terrible UI and UX
the intention of the app is lost behind a terrible UI design, with way too many overlays of illustrations, poor legibility of typography (like white on pink or other pale colors), and overall way too busy for a peaceful experience.
the UX is no better, with with many duplications (two sleep buttons on the same page), click on an option from a busy page to get to anther busy one, and while i was trying to use the sleep function (which was the selling point for me) i cannot find the result β inherently making this not user-friendly. when i click on results, it gives me fake data, and at the very button in small hard to read type (i mentioned too many overlays) it says itβs a demo! then if you click βtrackβ it brings you back to the sleep function β but i just woke up! and whatβs more, when using the sleep function, the default is music without timer, which means half way through the night i woke up and the music was still going (might even be what woke me up). the default should be a more reasonable option. (to change that you have to go into your personal settings).
overall, 24-hrs is all iβll give this app. itβs intention is good, but there are terrible designers out there, and iβm afraid this one was victim to one. i will not lose another nightβ sleep trying to navigate it.
