Great Theater, Horrible App
The old app had some minor flaws, but this one doesn’t even work. It’s so frustrating to use that I will choose theaters further away to avoid having to open it. The worst part is that it was released two months ago and hasn’t been updated since. They published a half baked app and then just forgot about it.Show lessCooper326
Horrible App
The old app, despite some glitches here and there, worked well. I was able to scan and earn points, receive rewards, and view showtimes.
This new app does absolutely nothing! I can’t access anything and just keep getting the error message that something went wrong, please try again. This is even when I just try to open the app. I have refreshed, uninstalled, reinstalled, logged in and out, and made sure it was updated. Just use your phone’s browser.
The app just appears to be a port of the mobile browser version of the website. No integration with commonplace phone features that would make ordering tickets ahead of time easier and more desirable than at the cinema. Selecting seats is much easier to do in the browser version. Instead of a virtual card in Apple Wallet, you have to navigate to the app and pull up a QR code for the rewards system. There’s also no support for entering saved credit card numbers, you have to manually put it in. The point of an app is to make all of this easier, not harder! At the very least, our rewards cards should be supported on Apple Wallet.Show lessrandapandable
New App is Not Good
The new app is nothing but frustration. I want to be able to see what movies are playing two and three days in advance. That’s basically impossible. It’ll show movies that are supposedly current but you click on it to see times and it says it’s not available. Makes me want to find a different theater to go to. I’m very disappointed that I bought the bucket for the year for popcorn I’m not going to get my money’s worth for it.Show lessCrazy Ray 38
Doesn't seem like they even care.
Old app was broken for many months and the new one isn't any better than the old app when it worked. Oh, and the new one doesn't work half of the time too. Doesn't list times unless you click on the movie, which is annoying because when you go back, you start at the top of the page again.fearlessRAMPAG3
