  • Great game with a couple of bugs

just got this game recently and i love it, my only downside is i'll get 15-20min in a game and it'll crash and i'll lose all my progress which can be quite frustrating. otherwise a good play.
  • Great port but one problem for me

This is a great port of the game, touch controls are fine as is everything else, one big problem with me is I can’t commit 30 mins straight to play it and the fact I lose my progress on the run every time I put my phone away is annoying, would be good if it kept track and was able to continue the run at a later time

  • Love the game

This game is great I have put hours and hours into it but the only reason i am reviewing this and giving it 3 stars is that im so frustrated that this amazing game doesn’t have a save/load feature or even keep your progress if u leave the app and come back to it 5 mins later ! For a game that takes a good chunk of Time to complete and master it’s something that is needed , I don’t understand why I can do this with every other mobile game in the world but not this one ??? Makes no sense .

  • incredibly fun… except for the crashes

Starting by saying that I downloaded this game in February, and back then I would have rated it a 5, and should have, because it’s a great game for the price of free. Hours and hours of fun gameplay that incentivizes completion and exploration. Occasionally the app would crash when tabbing out, causing lost progress, but it didn’t occur often enough for it to hinder the otherwise addicting design. I bought the Moonspell DLC happy to support the devs, and it was well worth it, but the app started to crash more often while in-app. Now, after downloading the new DLC I cannot play more than a few seconds of any level without it crashing. It’s a shame because I would recommend it, but the mobile port clearly needs polishing.

  • Won't even open anymore.

Edit - I bought Legacy of the Moonspell DLC on release and game now crashes when loading, can't even play anymore. Also requested a privacy information report that showed the game uses a ridiculous amount of informational tracking identifiers.

The Steam version seems to be a labour of love, but the iOS release seems to be more interested in DRM and information collection than delivering a happy game experience.

Original Review - Always crashes now halfway through a run, every single time. Hopefully it’s fixed soon, VS has been my go to game lately, here and on Steam.

  • Full of content, no forced ads, no microtransactions

Lots of characters times lots of weapons and trinkets equals hours upon hours of strategising, synergising and unlocking secrets and arcanas. This much content for free, offline is a miracle and a gem of a game.
  • Great Game with still so much potential

Amazing fun game but please fix the crashes… I have been trying to complete the new DLC released recently and am going on attempt number 5. I am using Queen with maxed AoE weapons and it crashes every time I attempt. I cannot seem to get past 15m before the game closes out and I have to try all over again. ALSO! PLEASE release a feature where you can save your progress, leave the game and you are able to jump right back in where you left off on any level. Many games have this feature. Or at least, if it crashes it saves your progress so when you load the game back up a pop up box appears and it says something along the lines of “Your fate was not yet sealed during your last venture. Would you like to continue?”. Other than that, I love this game! 🙏🙏🙏

  • Great game, crashing consistently

I've been playing this game for a bit, and gotten rather deep into it, and it's really good! Major problem I have though, is that it crashes rather consistently during the B. Country level on my iPad Air 3. It doesn't run anywhere near slowly, or overheat, or anything; it just seemingly spontaneously crashes, even with nothing running in the background. Any assistance or fixes would be appreciated.
Addendum: It seems I've hit a kind of total time cap? Switched to Mad Forest to do Portia, and I'm running into the same issue; the game crashes around 12 minutes in. This theory is further reinforced by this cap (and thus, a crash) arriving at about the same in-game time even with Hurry mode enabled.

  • Good BUT

I finished the game story in 3 days. Long hours but yeah I finished it. I was aiming to unlock extra characters and other missing items BUT I found the spell book… please remove the spells - cheats because it destroyed the game for me. Knowing that I can only type a spell and get something unlocked was very bad experience for me. I know I know I didn’t have to use it but come on… the option is there for a reason so I used it as part of the game.

A part from this big “BUT” I have no complains I got the DLC as soon as, for a very reasonable price.

The game is good. I would recommend to add some extra features maybe some more weapons and combinations but I had a great time. I was little sad that I finished it and unlocked most of the stuff with playing and finished it off with the spells.

    Thanks

  • Great game, but could be even better

The first game I started I was already hooked on it. However, I play this game on PC through steam, so it would be epic to be able to transfer my progress onto my phone via either linking my steam account or to an account of any sort within the game so I can continue my progress. Otherwise, im stuck only playing this game at home because I don’t want to start from the beginning
