  • want to stop doomscrolling? USE THIS!!!

GOSH i love this app!!! especially with the newer update i am obsessed. i have a pretty bad habit of doomscrolling all the time, but this game is so fun that it has helped me defeat that by switching over to this!!! i love waking up and checking on my plants in the morning! you learn more about plants AND your mental health as you play! it’s such a beautiful niche little game that i no guilt play for hours.
  • Love!!!

This game is adorable. I’ve been playing nonstop for weeks! There are no intrusive ads and the concept is so cute, not to mention relaxing visuals and sound effects. I’m always looking forward to taking care of my plants and decorating my room. This game is such a breath of fresh air from all the copy-paste repetitive games on the market that are basically just ad farms.
  • Love!! 🪴

Most plant games are either too complicated OR they’re very simple and lack any kind of customization, there’s no in between; at least in my experience. This game is different. I love the the way the plants sway, the shadows they cast, the colors, it’s all high quality graphics. I love that you can change their potting and place them wherever you like. I like how there’s more than one way to help your plant grow beyond just watering it. I love the mini “games” like the paper airplane & stacking books. It’s very easy to accumulate currency to achieve things & buy stuff you like. The music is soothing. Overall Its been a great experience. I love games where I don’t have to do a lot BUT I still have small tasks to complete. I especially love when I can decorate. The only thing I would “critique” is that the game should alert the user that the little green hearts you’re awarded need to be placed on the map in order to make progress. I didn’t know placing them would unlock other features until I found the map by accident and saw they had accumulated. Never reviewed a game before but after a notification asked me in the game while customizing my room I though it was time lol.
  • SO CUTE AND RELAXING!

Grow and maintain your plants, decorate room, play mini casual games, and collect dust bunny pets to turn into plants!

I love love love how there’s lo-fi in the background and you can skip songs like any radio. And there’s a deeper connection towards the game because it’s all about EMOTIONS!

I journal in the game almost every day and it really helps my mood feel a lot better! Everyone try it out if you like casual relaxing games!
  • Genuinely the best mental health game I’ve played in a long time

I struggle with anxiety, depression, and feelings of incredible loneliness. For a long time, due to unfortunate circumstances, I made myself feel bad for experiencing those feelings. This game, in the short time I have played it, genuinely has helped me so much. It is a wonderful reminder that we are allowed to have hard days, allowed to have uncomfortable feelings. We can learn to take care of ourselves the way we might take care of a plant. We can allow ourselves to grow. This game shows that magnificently. Thank you for creating a game like this, I genuinely wish the developers all the best.
  • Best Game & Community EVER

You need this game!!! I downloaded it a few months ago and have had the most amazing time collecting plants, stars, learning, growing! Such a simple concept of tending to emotions like plants, but it really just makes a huge difference. The developers are so kind and connected to the players through discord and are constantly working incredibly hard to make the game even better! You won’t regret playing! Also ads/money is not essential to the game at all. Ads are totally optional and non invasive! It’s the best 💚
  • Super comforting

I don’t tend to stick to games that deal with mental health cause most of the time they make you grind for the things you need in the game. This game is the opposite even, you are able to play up to hours and hours and you’ll still have something to do. The mini games and the plants and getting to know more about each one of them and why they are deemed beautiful. I love how empathy wakes you up to energy and a nice note that helps you remember it’s ok to move on even though life can be suffocating. I’m also glad we can stick a negative memory to the bunny and plant that feeling and grow it into a plant so you can grow out of those worries and pains. This game is beautifully made and hope the system never changes. 🩷

  • Adorable and Addicting!

This game is something very special, it is such an easy to play and cozy game that you can spend hours playing. I love the variety of plants and how cute all of the emotibuns/items are. This game has been helpful in thinking and processing hard things that I wouldn’t usually want to think about, as well as giving me something to go back to on the good days. DustBunny has quickly grown to become one of my favorite games and I am so excited to see the developments to come. In the future I would love to see new emotibuns such as Fear, Depression, Guilt, Happiness, Excitement, etc.. as well as more items, pots, and possibly the ability to obtain carrots from advertisements. I have yet to obtain a single carrot and have been playing for about a week and a half with all but 4-5 plants to be found, I spend hours playing this game at a time and it seems practically impossible to obtain a carrot without in app purchase. If new ideas arise I’ll put them here, game development takes a lot of time and tireless effort and I honestly can’t praise DustBunny enough for what it is at it’s earlier stages; I anxiously await future updates and new content :3

Thank you so much for your kind review! Your words make us so happy & motivated as we work hard to improve Dustbunny each day :) Carrots are mainly for in-app purchase, but we have events where you can earn them. We'll also bring more items, decor, pots, and even furniture in the upcoming updates! We're so thankful and can't wait to bring new content in the future. • Could be better!

I know this game is currently unfinished so I’ll give it some slack but there could be some changes to make the game a little more fun/interesting. Sparkles are definitely hard to obtain for the amount you need to spend. Especially for repotting plants. If the amount of sparkles needed for items were lowered or the amount of sparkles gained were higher, then this issue could be resolved. Otherwise, I’d really like to see more emotibun types as I’ve realized there’s only 4. And would like there to be more opportunities to see them outside of being planted… Another thing is that I’d like more variety of plants because it gets a little boring seeing the same green shade again and again. Maybe the rarer plants change this, but from a beginner’s perspective, there’s not enough to keep my interest. The journal segments are very nice though and the general idea of the game is cute and nice… But these are my thoughts.

    Developer Response

Hello, thank you for your feedback. We're working to make some items more affordable in the upcoming updates! We also appreciate your suggestions on the variety of plants - we have many rare plants and even hybrid plants to be discovered in the plant index, and the game's progress was designed to be gradual and relaxed. But we hear you and understand your perspective as well, and will see if we can improve some aspects of the game. Also, there's a way to see your emotibun when they burst out of their pots from time to time! Players love to capture photos of this event. :) If you'd like to give Dustbunny another try in the future, we'd also love to have you on our Discord, a growing community of friendly and kind Dusters where we have daily conversations about suggestions and feedback.
  • Ads take away from the experience

The game seems nice so far and relaxing. However, the ads really take away from the calming experience this game is supposed to offer. Please come out with a micro transaction of some sort to give us the choice to skip ads and receive the rewards. Other games have done this, surely a game meant to be peaceful can too.

I plan to keep on playing for now, but I usually drop games that have forced ads and no way of getting rid of them because in the end, it’s a waste of time. You offer ads for items at about 30 seconds a piece and these items refresh every 5 minutes. It seems a little ridiculous.

    Developer Response

Hello, thank you for your feedback! We currently do not have any forced ads; only optional ones for extra rewards or shortened wait times. But we do understand that some players want to skip ads completely, and we're working to introduce a feature to skip ads very soon. Hopefully this will make your experience more relaxing. As we're a small team working to improve the game every day, your feedback is much appreciated. If you'd like, we'd love to have you on our Discord channel, a growing community of kind Dusters who share tips and suggestions daily.
