  • Coziest game I've ever played

I never write reviews but I had to for this game because it sincerely needs more attention. I've become so incredibly bored and fed up with mobile games recently but this game soothes me like no other. It is so peaceful, calming, and charming. There are no gimmicks or pay to win features, just cosmetics you can buy to support the game, but the things you can buy without real money are cute enough on their own.

I absolutely adore the concept of this game, I adore the aesthetic, the bunnies and Empathy are so extremely cute. I am genuinely attached to my plants. I let one go on accident and almost started crying. The mental health lessons are so charming and sweet. The mini games are so fun and cute and unique and I love how they are tied to the items you buy to decorate your room.

I really really look forward to seeing what else they add to this game. I haven't enjoyed a mobile game this much in years.

  • I like it

Thus far, I’m at level 14, with roughly 19 hours playing over the course of about 2 weeks. I like checking on my plants, watering them, and collecting different forms of currency. I also enjoy the mini games, though I find them to be too challenging for me. I don’t see where to check the active/current water or soil level of a plant. I know that a droopy plant needs water, but the quiz said soil will be lighter when thirsty. I don’t see a color change between watering and not watering. The only status of a plant I can see is when bugs require a clean card or a droop means it needs water. I’m not sure why they sway, but they sparkle, so I guess that’s good. It would be lovely if the game added area rugs, curtains, and different shaped shelves, headboards, and night stands in the store. I’d like to collect a theme of those. The vibration turns itself back on every time I restart the app. Nbd, but hope it’s fixed soon. Idk how to add friends.
  • So difficult to get sparkles

I love this game. It is so calming and thoughtful, I can really feel the love and care put into it. My only complaint is that it is so hard to get sparkles. I understand it’s not supposed to be easy, I want to feel rewarded by my hard work— but the sparseness of sparkles is discouraging. I’m so excited to unlock decor for my room but at this rate I don’t know how long that will take 😭. For some ideas for development in the future, I would love to see more stickers for the journal! I think that’s a really cute opportunity for the devs to showcase their creativity and I’d love to see it.
  • Sweet, but difficult to achieve

As a new player and avid fan of of idle games I became quickly invested. It’s so therapeutic to go through the tasks of caring for plants and being able to see the effort pay off - something the game has captured beautifully. Though once you get past the first few levels it’s so hard to advance because of high costs as well as space restrictions. I’d love to continue playing and collect all the plant types but it would take months to even be able to get enough space to house them. Personally I think it would be helpful to be able to sell or store plants so that it would even be possible to play this game.

Hello, thanks for your feedback. You can let go of plants using the Let Go card, but it looks like you haven’t unlocked that card yet. We’ve also lowered some of the card costs and made the game more manageable in the recent update. While Dustbunny is designed to be a slow-paced, relaxing game, we hear you and will see if we can improve some aspects you’ve mentioned. Dustbunny is improving every day - we’d love to welcome back in the future. If you decide to give it another try, we would appreciate your feedback anytime via in-game message, Discord channel, or DMs.
  • Sweet, comforting game

Wow, what a sweet and comforting game. I never write reviews but almost didn’t download this because it has so few reviews and I’m so glad I did. This game is relaxing and cozy, and unlike other apps I’ve had.

I love that the underlying theme of this game is taking a deep breath and giving your negative emotions space to grow into something beautiful. It’s super relaxing and straight forward to play but so satisfying to watch the beautiful different plants grow. A lot of iPhone games are addictive but make me feel bad after playing, this one makes me feel so good.

I appreciate that there are no intrusive adds— there is the option to watch adds for more energy and other perks but the game is totally playable and enjoyable without watching any and they never pop up.

I also love the journal aspect— the only suggestion I can think of is I would love if the app automatically recorded and displayed the date of each journal entry. That’s literally it though, I’ve been enjoying this game so much and am so grateful for it!
