An Interval Timer for a workout app is a feature that allows users to set up timed intervals for their exercise routines. The app can be programmed to set a particular duration for each exercise interval, followed by a rest interval before the next exercise starts.
The user can customize the intervals according to their specific needs, such as the number of intervals, the duration of the exercise, the rest interval duration, and the type of exercise. This feature can also include pre-set workout routines for users who prefer a ready-made exercise plan.
During the workout, the app displays the current exercise and the remaining time for the exercise interval. It can also provide audio and visual cues when it's time to switch exercises or rest, making it easy for users to focus on their workout without having to constantly check the timer.
Overall, an interval timer for a workout app can be a helpful tool for users to structure their workouts, stay on track, and achieve their fitness goals.
I am using iPhone 6s (old I know) but thought it might be worth mentioning in case that is what’s affecting the performance. Anyways now that’s out of the way, some suggestions, 1. The app doesn’t allow me to go back to the menu/main/start app screen to choose another routine once sets completed. Can that be fixed 2. Could you add the number of exercises into the routine and rest between exercises. In cases where if someone decides to do more than 1 type of exercise in a set so that way the rest time time between exercises and sets could be set up
