  • Believe in Cultural Care AU Pair App

    It’s a bummer that the app isn’t 100% perfect just yet, but there’s an amazing team working hard on it! I think they made the switch from the website to the app with everyone’s best interest in mind. Transitions can be tricky, but I’m all in for the app and super excited to support the process.
  • Bad UX! Critical information is missing

    AuPair health insurance / flight information is missing. LCC information is wrong. Unmatched my current AuPair. They took away credit card payments and forcing ACH Payments. There are no other payment options! AuPairs videos and photos aren’t loading. They say FAIL! There is no keyword search. All past invoices and payments are missing. Keyword search is missing to search through AP Profiles.

  • Security?

    Apps that contain personally identifiable information including social security numbers, address, phone number, and take ACH payments should have 2 factor identification or at least a login screen. Customer service informed me that there are security concerns in uploading current host family signed documents, yet I’m supposed to trust that my personal information is safe? There is no login screen, app stays logged in all the time with no security. I have to login each time for Old Navy to purchase $100 of clothes, but I don’t have to login to make a $3000 payment on an au pair?

  • Rollback the rollout

    Hosting an au pair is a massive investment of time, resources, energy, finances, and love. Catering to TikTokers / phone addicted young adults is just so antithetical to the au pair experience that I want for my family. Even if overall experience is ultimately improved with an app, eliminating the functional website alongside the rollout makes no sense. I am not comfortable with uploading images of my home - that can be shared live via video chat. I have logged into the app and somehow am not able to do so with the same information on the website? My login email is associated with another account? Yes, that’s correct. And I would like to access it.

    While I found photo uploads frustrating on the old website, I far preferred that platform to the new app.

    Transition documents for au pairs in rematch are not accessible.

    Entire bodies of text are eliminated due to shortened characters, which means rewriting entire carefully written sections.

    Having hosted for 5 years, including one with another agency for a specific extension match and then returning to CC because I valued the customer experience even at a higher cost, I am sad to say that I will be leaving again and for good at the end of our current term if changes aren’t reversed and upgrades made.

  • Slowing down the match process

    The app has introduced major difficulties in our matching process: content about au pairs does not load, especially video and photos; search is significantly more difficult than it was before; they completely eliminated the browser version of the app; chats and notifications do not go through or happen too late; video calls have yet to work.

    Big disappointment when we are in a time of need.

  • Cultural Scare strikes out (again)

    This company really does not deserve to be in business. Website unavailable for 4 days while they roll out a new website and this app - and neither are functional over a week later. Had a pre-existing account and still unable to even log in. Repeated calls to customer service have not resulted in a fix.

    I could go on and on about how terrible they are as an agency, but even their terrible platform and this non-functional app is enough of a reason to avoid this agency entirely. We are switching to APIA - enough is enough.

    Shame on you Cultural Care… you don’t deserve to be in business!!

  • Bring back a web experience

    Replacing a functional website with a dysfunctional app was a terrible “upgrade”. Removing the option to use a website is unfair to hosting families and incoming au pairs. The app does not work. In any capacity. All “features” are awful and do not work. Matched au pairs are deleted and removed from profiles, new courses are required but inaccessible, the search feature is terrible (only showing au pairs that don’t even match timelines or needs). Overall a terrible experience. If it doesn’t fix quickly I don’t see how anyone can utilize this company for an au pair.

  • Garbage

    Useless app and “upgrade “ to website. You’re wasting everyone’s valuable time. As soon as my time is up I will be switching companies. Your inconsiderate roll out of this useless piece of junk says it all. Plus we can’t use credit cards anymore?! It’s been 6 years and I will give nothing but the most awful recommendation because of what you’ve done to all of us this past week

  • Awful Experience

    I started my application to host an au pair a week before the rollout of this new system, and I'm struggling with the app like everyone else. It's just full of bugs everywhere. I'm really frustrated and looking at other places for this service.
  • Very disappointing

    The only positive is that there’s now an app. Needed more testing before going live.

    I’m very disappointed that all our data needed to be entered again and that the message function isn’t working. Not a great start when you are trying to find a new au pair.
