Anytype is a great blend of Notion and Obsidian’s features, while not feeling overly complex to pick up and learn — especially if you're already somewhat familiar with Notion’s workflow.
The speed and ability to work offline is what finally won me over after years of being a daily Notion user. I do miss Notion’s excellent spreadsheet-like tables, but hopefully this is something that will be added down the road.
I use Anytype everyday. Enjoy that my thoughts are structured and look beautiful without effort from my side. Grateful for the feeling of calm that all my thoughts, all my creations are just mine, private and protected. I use it on iPhone and my Mac. Especially love the community
I love this app! I’ve been using it since the pre-beta release, and I can’t say how happy I am to have found something JUST like Notion, but with privacy at the forefront.
You can take quick notes, make databases and tables, write, and so much more! I love the peace of mind it gives me that it is both stored locally and encrypted. So grateful for this app and the team that created it.
As a long time Notion user, I’m really excited for Anytype as it addresses many of the concerns or issues I’ve had with Notion. YOU own your data and it’s stored locally, which is something I’ve been wanting for a long time. E2E encryption, referencing objects directly within a note - the feature list is robust and I can’t wait to build out my space.
