Great mobile port of a great indie game

Excellent game. Excellent port. Hours and hours of gameplay. Great quality of life options for mobile including portrait mode. Bad for my productivity.

Very odd pricing

Found this game after it received high praise on QT3 forum and I saw it had just been released on steam and iOS. First thing I noticed was this game is MORE expensive on iOS than it is on steam. Why???

Second thing I noticed, the dice animation is very stuttered and overall the interface feels pretty bad. I really suggest you consider offering this game at a lower price on iOS as is the standard.

Aside from that, it’s nice to be able to play a free demo of the game. But honestly it feels quite unpolished.

Best dice roguelike

Played a lot of this on PC and now its on ios for 12 bucks if you want the full version, though its a free 12-level demo out of a total 20. I'll get it at some point since it's well worth it. There's a ton of unlocks and you can choose to unlock everything at any time so you don't have to grind.

Addicting

It’s great on PC, but this is the perfect game for an iPad.

Fantastic rogue lite!

Immediately bought after completing my demo run.

Supports portrait and landscape modes!

Dev: Can you add Game Center Achievements in an update? 😇

Incredibly addicting, best Yahtzee roguelite

I played this game like crazy when it was on itch.io. Now that I have unlimited access to it on my phone, I’m in big trouble. So many heroes, so many game modes, so many items. Rolling dice and pressing your luck has never been so good. I don’t even like Yahtzee but I love this game.

Excellent Yahtzee Roguelike

An excellent roguelike that is worth the in-app purchase to upgrade. The game is strategic and can be quite challenging, if you’re looking for that.
There’s loads of depth to the synergies and classes. The items can feel a little out-of-balance, sometimes defining the run’s success and other times collecting dust in the inventory. But since it is a roguelike, that kind of variance is to be expected and even embraced.

The mobile implementation is one of the best I have played for this kind of game. It can be played portrait or landscape, which both feel good. Tap-to-hold and other UX are well done and if you ever make a mistake, you can just undo. Unlike some other mobile turned-based/boardgame-esque games, you’re never really fighting the controls and you aren’t put in a position where a mis-press can end your run.

Ultimately, it’s worth the free download just to check out. The tutorial in the 3.0 helps fill in the gaps and makes it’s easier to understand what’s going on. There’s a certain charm to this game and the brief text descriptions and chunky pixel art make it feel almost like a port of an old Gameboy game (except for the 3D dice).

An absolute mountain of cool stuff

There’s an insane amount of everything in this game! You could probably play this forever and keep seeing new bits to play with!

Depth and Replayability for days.

Slice and Dice is a dice-rolling game with the build depth of the best roguelites out there. With a broad selection of characters and strategy-shifting items to outfit them, this game scratches the itch if you’re looking for a game that will challenge you even after you learn how to break the balance over your knee. I have been playing since the 1.0 launch on Android, and am buying the full version again here so I can take advantage of the screen size on iPad. No matter how many runs I clear, something still manages to surprise and delight. If you love roguelite, this is a stellar addition to the canon of roguelites you need to try.

A Fiendishly Addictive Dice-based Roguelite

I’ve been waiting so long for this to be on my iPhone! Got an email that this game was available on iOS now and immediately put down Balatro, if that means anything to you. This game has the feel of Slay the Spire with runs that have quite a bit more variety due to the plethora of randomized enemies, character upgrades, and equipment powerups. I can’t recommend this game enough.

If I were to ask anything of the developer, it would be to allow for the repositioning of the vertical orientation of the screen, so that the dice roll on the bottom. That is a very, very minor complaint, and in the meanwhile I just turn the screen sideways to play it how it’s meant to be played.

You should download this game.
