Incredible
It took me a little while to recognize this games true genius but once it began to truly show, I understood why so many people were gushing over it.
The fact that this is also on iOS is even better. I can do a turn or two at any point throughout the day.
Easily worth the asking price and then some.

Approachable, varied mobile tactics game
It's a roguelite game where you go from combat to combat with a party of 4 characters whose moves are represented by faces on a die. Each round you have a number of rerolls available to try and get the moves you want to use. Aside from the rolling of the dice themselves, combat is entirely deterministic, you know exactly what each enemy is going to do and you can undo and redo your turn as many times as you want to mess around with targeting, attack order, etc.
Between each combat, you're given the choice to either pick between a couple equippable items that typically change dice faces in interesting ways, or between different class upgrades that change a party member's dice and abilities entirely. there are a LOT of classes and a LOT of items. Enemy encounter design is really clever and keeps you on your toes, and the various equippables can combine in some gamebreaking ways that can make you feel pretty smart. There are a million different unlockable game modes and characters and items so there are usually a bunch of different goals to pursue at any given time.
Compared to something like StS where (IMO) strategy leans more towards the deckbuilding and map routing than the moment-to-moment card combat, Slice & Dice feels a little more focused on the combat tactics side. The undo button means you have a lot of freedom to puzzle out different lines of play and take your time to strategize, which balances nicely with the merciless RNG of the dice.
Also the free version is a great taste of the game and can probably sell it to you better than I can. It lets you play most of the way through a full "classic mode" run of the game and you'll know whether it has its hooks in you or not.

Excellent
Amazing game at a reasonable price
A good replayable game without a subscription?
I am shocked! I’m so happy that I also bought it on steam as well. Just like concerned ape and stardew, developers like these should be rewarded for producing a fantastic game for a fair price and that over delivers on value. Thanks dev! Keep up the great work!
Solid Roguelike
Easy and clever gameplay. Haven’t played a better dice game—it’s really compelling. Plenty of thinky decisions every turn. Free trial should give you a great taste, but pay to support a great game and loads of content. Most Recommended. For real, give it a go!
I’ve been waiting for this game to come to iOS for so long
Great game
Great game but small bug
The tutorial text(and maybe other text?) is overlapped by the iPhone mini’s notch.
Just a banger
Got it on itch too but I’m very happy with the phone version too.
Great game. Needs som iOS tweaks
Great game that has potential for long term playability. However, really needs 1) cloud save to allow for cross-device playability. Its not great having two separate games on iPad and iPhone. 2) currently doesn’t respect the “notch” on iPhone (13 pro max). In portrait mode important information is covered up by the notch.
