Can’t log into the app
What a frustrating experience. I’ve tried this on my iPad and on my iPhone and despite deleting and reinstalling the app, resetting my password again and again, I can never get my password recognised on the app. I’ve contacted the customer support and got a useless reply that just told me to do the thing I’d already done i.e. deleting and reinstalling the app. It doesn’t work! How many 1 star reviews do they need to get before they realise that something is wrong with their app and/or the system for logging in. Sort it out quickly please.Show lessSunnyLondon
Edwardian Calendar
When I logged on to this app, I thought there would be more stuff to see than an ancient building so scrolled down the street and saw only a couple walking by which made me a bit sad because you spend Christmas with the family I scrolled back down the street and saw nothing it was not like the Sussex one that was better as you could see the elves and tap them so they danced that’s what I think this is missing out on and that’s why I’m giving it a four star rating 😐🙄😯Show lessxhyrgjifchda
Lovely but slight bug
Lovely app working well mostly, appreciate being able to zoom in to find the animals. The theme is nice although I think I preferred the slightly more rustic feel of last year (2022).
Slight bug with the solitaire game, when playing with 2 suits it doesn’t let me move groups of cards. Fine with single suit.

Buggy.
I can’t get the calendar to work properly on my iPad. It’s full of bugs. It won’t let you use it fully unless you log on to the Jaquie Lawson site through the app, but the latter gets stuck on a loop saying “attempting to log you in…” and it never does. Hence, you cannot access the full functionality of the calendar. I hope you add a bug fix soon. This is a disaster. I have paid a lot of money to send this calendar to my whole list of family members and friends and those of them using it on a tablet or iPad are also having trouble.Show lessTropiFlute
Nice enough
I know it's early days but so far I find this year's advent calendar a bit disappointing. It's nice enough but it doesn't compare to last year's, which I'd have rated 5 stars+
The street scene calendars have so much more going on - more to see and more interactive elements right there.
Not only I, but those I sent that one to or who purchased their own, and my 2 little great granddaughters, loved last year's. The snowmen to dress, snowballs to throw and other treats, were right out there in the streets, among the buildings.
Just opening the app provided a cheery, colourful scene: a festive exterior.
I have purchased the advent calendar every year, and this is only the second one that hasn't really delighted me right from first opening.
Hopefully, as the days unfold this one will become more captivating.Show lessDawe Dame

Never had so many hours of utter frustration trying to set this thing up to work. My husband is a professional programmer and says there are not even instructions on how to use it. I give up ! What a waste of money so unnecessarily. This could be such a lovely product for any age. We ve had yr calendars for years and they were simple to activate! In the past! …. I’ve used Jacquie Lawson cards for many years and they just keep getting better and better! My friends really enjoy them as much as I enjoy sending them. Wonderful app!
Beautiful graphics and music, fun games and this is before the actual advent calendar even begins. Very relaxing experience playing this. I was a little nervous downloading to my iPad and buying the paid version after reading reviews of it not working, but I have experienced no issues. Very much worth the £7 and I can’t wait to open the advent calendar every day in December leading up to Christmas.Show lessleannes84
The kitties and dog are back!
I just downloaded in the 2023 Edwardian Advent calendar. Of course it’s too early to actually activate the days. However, from what I’ve seen so far it’s gorgeous. I’ve already decorated my tree! But what I wanted to really say is that I love when developers listen and respond to comments. Last year my particular complaint was that the kittens and the dog were missing. Well, they are back this year and they move to different positions in the room, sometimes on the couch, on the floor etc.Show lessMoggie101
