  • My 6 yo loves it!

Thank you so much for creating this. I am a single mom with ADHD with an ADHD son who I have known for awhile needs a body double. But truth is, I just can’t always do it and stay sane. So this morning I handed him the morning routine and said he could get ready this way and to meet me downstairs when he is ready for school. Not only did he do literally it all, but wanted to watch all the videos he could and can’t wait to clean his room when he gets home! You two are the best!

  • Missing the point

A video tutorial maybe? But this is not body doubling. Who ever made these videos is kind of missing the point of body doubling. The videos are short, with the steps described rather than acted out for a lot of them. These videos are SHORT, like 15 seconds. You cannot watch these videos while doing the tasks at all.

I started with room clean, their room is spotless, only like 2 cups and a small piece of trash. So naturally it takes her 20 seconds to pick up all trash. This is completely unrealistic for 90% of ND individuals. The whole point of the word ‘doubling’ implies we are doing the same thing at the same time. This is just a paid video of someone saying ‘pick up your trash’ and then you having to do it on your own. Don’t bother.

    Developer Response

Hi there, we’re sorry that the steps breakdown didn’t work for you. Maybe the “body doubling with focus music” mode might work better? Lots of users find the steps breakdown really helpful but they are designed to be very short and simplified, so we’d love to know if the full body doubling mode works better. We’ve also got “room of doom” which is a much longer body doubling video (about an hour). We’d love to know if that helps, and please contact us by visiting https://dubbii.app/support if you have any other suggestions or concerns 💙
  • Love

I love this app so much and it’s so helpful to have someone walk you through the task. My mom used to do it but being in my 30’s now that’s not really an option 😆. Just showed this to my kids and they are also excited to give it a try.
  • Excited to use, but not accessible for this blind person.

Why am I giving this a five star review when it’s impossible for me to use? Because I believe in the app and the people who are developing it. I know that about 10% of people in the United States where I live are blind and I don’t know what the percentage of people with ADHD is, but I’ve got both. I was able to download the app and choose clean the kitchen as my free task, but when I go to try and do the task, I click on who to follow and then it just never seems to let me do it I don’t hear like start task. I think the button to do that might not be labeled so that voiceover will let me know what it is. I’m looking forward to being able to use this app and to follow along with you guys :-)

  • I CAN FINALLY SEE MY FLOOR

I have recently been diagnosed with adhd, and as a young woman, I’ve always been ashamed of how difficult I find it to do household/self care tasks. I followed these guys on TikTok before but my counseller recommended this app. You can really tell it’s created by people that have/ understand adhd with the reminders and just the way it’s broken down. I can finally see my floors lol and less washing is forgot about. Lastly it’s so nice to hear Rox talk about cleaning and actually understand as we have the same thought process and approach ( due to the adhd ) THANK YOU! This app has genuinely really helped me :)

  • It’s a game changer!

This app is so incredibly helpful! I use it when I catch myself putting something off and it’s the perfect motivator to get started. I particularly like the autoplay option - it brings my focus back if I get side-tracked with a “task multiplier”
  • Thank you.

This has helped me start a nightly routine!! I haven’t flossed in MONTHS and yet just having my favorite ADHD YouTubers doing it with me made me feel like I could. Some people may say there isn’t enough tasks for the cost but maybe this isn’t meant for those people. For those of us who struggle to get the basics consistently, I want to say thank you for using what used to cause you shame to help us get over our own shame as well. I am feeling so much better about taking care of myself and I look forward to doing some of these tasks because I know I have friends to help me. Please don’t ever forget that you both are helping so many of us.

  • 😁 amazed!

I’ve got a tidy kitchen and sitting room and no one is coming over!!

I had no idea how to solve this problem I have of never being tidy - despite my best efforts/following cleaning channels/trying to stick to a routine. I decided to try this as I relate so much to adhdlove, not sure if I have adhd but wondered if the adhd style support could help and lo and behold….!

Can’t thank you enough, finally the game has changed.

  • Validation: showers are exhausting

I thought I was the only one that hated showers but took them as often as I could force my self. Sure, taking out the trash and room of doom is awesome and I have definitely used those videos. But the one that I keep coming back to is the shower. When I heard Rox say ‘so much effort showering’ (for the first time), I thought ‘I’m not the only one!

    Other things I like:
There are two styles of doubling. I tend towards Rox, because she has ADHD and reminds us of things that I seem to always forget (get the towel and put on deodorant). Rich is also great.
I love that I feel like they are having conversations with me as they go along. (Except in the shower, that’s quiet).
I love the celebration at the end and the badges.

Also, as a plug for their content, they explain things so well. I feel like Rox explains it the way I’m thinking, then Rich explains it how I would like to but can’t articulate it to non-ADHDers. And I thank you! This late diagnosis adhd mom with her adhd son loves you all the way from the US in South Carolina!

Thank you for taking a chance and opening up!!!

Omg this is a game changer for housework!
Housework usually consists of the following cycle for me…

    Start a job
Find another job that needs doing
    Start that job
Make a great big mess as I go
    Feel totally overwhelmed
    Get angry
    Cry
Spend 12 hours like a cyclone until finally the house is clean and then I collapse and can’t move.

Today I used Dubbii for the first time and it’s blown me away. The simplicity and effectiveness is astonishing. I’ve managed to do a whole house clean (bar the doom piles which are up next 😬) and I’ve not felt overwhelmed, angry or cried..in fact I’ve kinda enjoyed it 😳😂

I love the little celebrate at the end of each task (great little dopamine boost) and the nudges of what needs doing and when.

Thank you Roxy and Rich 💚💚💚
