Underwhelmingly helpful

App is basic and doesn’t lead users through the process. For an app and service trying to help procrastination, I don’t find it to be proactive enough to truly mitigate it. I may not be seeing it/finding it, but there’s no analysis, and again no proactivity in leading users through a process, or directing them to support resources, analyses, and feedback. Also, I was hooked into this by taking a quiz and being told my “plan” would be emailed to me - it never was. Instead I was prompted to sign up, pay money, and still never received a “plan” or feedback from the quiz. Would not recommend.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY‼️‼️‼️

VERY MISLEADING! $30 down the drain! It’s a bunch of articles to read which is perfect for a procrastinator right?! I had the app for less than 5 minutes and realized this is not what they make it seem to be. A bunch of reading. Stuff you can google and read for free. They refuse to refund me. I’ve deleted my account and I hope my subscription is really canceled. I’m so disappointed for not reading reviews first. So many people had the same issue and my special self joined the crowd. So disappointed. A TOTAL RIP OFFFFF‼️‼️‼️‼️ I wish I could give NO STARS‼️

Don’t waste your money!

App is falsely represented. Canceled 2 days later requested refund. Developer has refused to refund the purchase after several emails. Developer sends exhaustive email response basically stating every excuse not to stand behind their product. The app itself I would give 2 stay but developer is a MINUS 5 star rating.

Double payments taken

I subscribed for 1 month and had the money taken twice. Seeing the other reviews I think this is a common trick - I’m going to try to get my money back through the company or my credit card. The app is also rubbish and I have deleted it anyway. Don’t waste your money.

Misleading and Horrible Company

Where to start? I, like others here, suffer with ADHD and with that comes the inability to focus/concentrate and impulsive actions. In the middle of the night, when I was unable to fall asleep and scrolling mindlessly through social media… this ad came up and it sounded super appealing. They say all the right things and misrepresent who they are and how the app functions. This app is HORRIBLE for people with ADHD. The interface is clunky and busy. The “helpful articles” are glorified user tutorials and very basic info about ADHD symptoms linked with procrastination (which most people already know). The articles under their “learn” heading (which by the way, there are only 5 that just take a minute or 2 to read) are not progress-advancing. They do not add helpful info based off insights, they do not have the feature to finish one article that should then lead you to a next step of continuing education and/or improvement. It’s just the 5 articles and that’s all.

But worst of all? This company is incredibly deceitful. This app is called Brainway. If you click on your profile, there is no account info. At the bottom you can rate the app, but it takes you to their OTHER app that is called Effecto (which then doesn’t allow you to rate it because it isn’t the app you purchased). Medical Score is the company name that bills you and they don’t have that name or info anywhere until you click a contact us and see it listed. There is no cancel subscription option. You have to contact the company directly and that’s not through the app either. It takes you to their website (which is also Effecto by the way). This is all sneaky and scammy. SO many different names? Super confusing. Also, If they had faith their product was useful and worth your money, they would not make cancelling so difficult. They prey on people with ADHD, in hopes that this will be too overwhelming to figure out (and thus you give up) or that you’ll forget about the app and they get to continue to charge you. I didn’t know this was going to auto-renew because it never stated I was signing up for that. I bought 1 month and thought that was all I paid for. But after reading reviews on Effecto (which by the way that app sounds EXACTLY like Brainway …so they just created 2 apps to confuse people?) everyone on there has the same issue with canceling and auto renew. So their advice is to:
-go to your PayPal
-click the medical score charge
-report a problem
-manage automatic payments
-cancel auto renew

And then IF the company contacts you for your payment (when you clearly don’t want it) you can let them know you are cancelling and not giving any new payment methods.

Super lame

Just an app to track things. And over complicated to make you think it’s awesome. Tried getting a refund and no luck. Avoid! Read Atomic Habits instead.

Privatised Health Care doesn’t work.

This App is badly designed but deliberately so. Basically what we have here is the psychiatric services - now privatised in the UK. I believe change was needed but Apps like this are not progress as there will always be the next App to buy to make up for the failings of this one. The money men get richer, mental health is not improved. They will then distribute and sell the data these Apps provide. Stinks.

Save your money

If you purchase this app and are new t satisfied then be sure to know you will not receive a refund. Do not purchase, unless you get a free trial it is not worth the $75 I paid.

Do not subscribe!!

This app is a waste of time and as soon as I purchased it, I realised my mistake. I contacted the company on the same day that I received the app and asked them to cancel my subscription. It took a week for them to get back to me and they assured me that the 3 monthly subscription would not be renewed or charged.

How wrong I was! They then charged another three months (even though they told me three months earlier that it had been cancelled. To add insult to injury, that have refused to refund me. DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO SUBSCRIBE AS IT IS A TOTAL CON!!!

Bad customer service

I felt this app did nothing for me, paid $25 for the first month then was charged $30 in January. I’ve been trying to contact someone to cancel this subscription and getting zero response.
Directions are not clear, it’s essentially tracking your moods.
