Awful - sync does not work - customer support non existent
I have a TR5000 with the 1980s style DT3 console. The app refuses to sync - I have tried it with my iPhone (15pro max and iOS 17.6.1), Mac and old 2015 iPad finning iOS 16. Same result - click “end and sync”, the machine disconnects Bluetooth and the app returns an error without syncing anything. I will get a treadmill speed sensor instead. Lifespan support in Europe has completely ignored me despite sending emails, messages through their website and call and text message. Most shocking of all, when I called, I got voicemail then a text message that simply said “send an SMS”!!! The treadmill is great but this app is utterly useless.Show lessLogon please
They should just restart with app
The treadmill is great and I love it as an under desk treadmill. However the app is horrible. They have not fixed an of the issues people have raised. The app still does not accurately sync with ihealth and constantly freezes making the step count inaccurate. While I love the treadmill I would not recommend to people solely based on the app. For something that costs so much you think the app would have better support and be functional.Show lessCasey721122
Keeps freezing during workout and forgetting data
Lifespan would be better if they just deleted this app and started again they’re losing customers because of this this app .
Pretty much every other time I use this app about halfway for a workout it will just stop working and then there’s no way to try and retrieve the date of at the end of your workout or anyway to then manually enter your data effectively it’s not tracking your progress and gives you inaccurate scores and data.Show lessTreadmill user 13
Truly terrible app
This app reminds me of apps made in Visual Basic in the 1990s - but less functional and worse graphics. LifeSpan: read the reviews. People at a minimum want accurate metrics that sync with Apple Health/Fitness (and to confirm the multiple, unanimous reviews on the same point, no, the app can’t do this, and worse, pretends that it can).

Not syncing after update
Sadly I updated to the latest version and I cannot sync my walk. I keep getting a devices disconnected error after I sync the workout.Samrdztx
Doesn’t sync to any health apps
I love the actual treadmill - far better than my last under-desk treadmill. But the app is AWFUL. In this day and age of technology - it shouldn’t be hard to create an app that syncs with any and all fitness apps. Instead, I have to manually enter since I’m walking and typing. Inputs wrong units and doesn’t sync with Apple Health

My treadmill is set to miles / imperial units. The app inputs them as metric. When setting the app to imperial it then reduces the distance. For example: I walked 2.0 miles on the treadmill. It shows up in the app as 2.0 kilometers and then converts that to 1.3 miles. The step count is correct as there is no unit conversion.Show lessScotteiou
Needs a lot of improvement

DO NOT BUY A LIFESPAN
Read the reviews! All true. I regret purchasing a Lifespan treadmill. The original version of the app worked great but they had to remove it and start from scratch because of problems at their parent companies. The result is a obviously under funded app development which completely RUINS the usability of their otherwise good quality hardware.
Frustrating, tedious syncing to the phone after EVERY workout. Makes you not even want to sync and discourages you from even using it.
Will not sync to Apple Health. They will not fix it and do not care. Good luck. Lots of new cheaper options now.Show lessLifespanSucks
