I already have the Goblin Tools app, which is free and feature-rich, but downloaded this app for the task tracker (to use for habit-tracking).
First off, the app crashed in the first 2 minutes of use. Secondly, I was really disappointed by how little I can do in the free version of this app, and even more so when I saw the subscription cost.
I totally understand needing the charge for operating costs and that the work devs do should be compensated. But $35/month?? That’s more than I pay for all other monthly subscriptions combined, including streaming services! Good apps are worth paying for, but I struggle to see a valid justification for what you’re charging.
**For folks who can’t afford that (most of the population who would benefit from this app), please check out Goblin Tools instead. It does 95% of the what this app does at 0% of the cost and has never crashed on me.**

Thank you for your feedback. We are constantly upgrading the app and we have dozens of engineers which is why we subscription fees are what they are. I am actually losing some money every month but as someone who has struggled with neurodivergent issues in the past, I thought it was important to build/create something for myself first and then offer it to the rest of the community.
I am sorry to hear that the app crashed. Apple sends us messages when crashes occur and we have a 99% uptime rate so I am sorry that we missed this one. I would love to understand what caused the crash and what we can do to make the app better for you. This app charged me without my permission wasn’t able to get my money back I honestly don’t recommend this app I would use the green version.

I’m not sure but I think this is a copycat app. First thing it asked for was my phone number when I opened it. Why do you need that?

We require a phone number to as part of our authentication process to ensure that you are a real person and to provide personalized functionalities that is truly unique to you and that we hope will help you cope with ADHD and neurodivergism. Additionally, our competitor has been using robots in Iran and Iraq to attack our servers, costing us 1000s of dollars a day. We are a small organization and cannot afford to pay $30k each month just to support the neurodivergent community. The only way to stop this is to authenticate each user.
We also have a "guest" feature where before providing your phone number, you can try out the bare-bones functionality of the application. If you want to access the full suite of tools, you will have to create an account and authenticate yourself so we know you are a real user.
