This app is really nice and the set up to see the birds has a good layout, where you see the ID and picture. The previous Netvue app was fine, but this is better to actually see and identify the birds, and you can do an array of things like favorite a bird or “collect” or see videos from other cams in the community. This app also works better with the nest bird house, which has 2 cameras.
I had their old app which felt like it was more designed for some of their other products but this one is for bird cameras only.
I liked how easy it was to set up my camera, the notifications work well, it’s easy to navigate. Plus I love the community feature where I can see birds that other people share. I mostly get red winged blackbirds and occasionally ducks and some ibis but I love birds up north and seeing them in the snow.
I love birdwatching in my backyard and this app makes it easy to check out my local bird friends without even having to be home. It’s a nice little break in my day when I’m at work or out and about to be able to see those little cuties having a snack at the feeder. The app has been great, easy to connect, responsive and compiles all my bird moments in one place. Would recommend for anyone that enjoys casual birdwatching.
Pretty simple. It won’t connect to WIFI. Waited for a chat rep…it doesn’t take them less than 5 minutes to reply and and when they do, it’s like one person is helping ten people because it took them forever to respond. I finally gave up cause I got tired of waiting. Tried calling. VM doesn’t take messages.
People are accustomed to accepting a crap product because they can troubleshoot it to eventually get it right. Negative! When I buy something, I assume it’s been through the QC and will work right out of the box.
Also, why do I have to create an account to get this thing to work? Seriously. Someone please explain why I have to create yet another account for something that I am just going to use for us?!?

It is stylish, simple to set up, and works like a charm! The birds just flock to it, and the newest seed guard prevents the mess of fallen seeds. Tufted titmice, chickadees, downy, hairy, and red-bellied woodpeckers, northern cardinals and more all flock to these feeders each day. We own two of them... and consider them well-worth every cent!
We’ve had our feeder up for about two weeks. So far, it’s been great. We LOVE the fact Netvue’s new feeder is environmentally conscious and Earth friendly. It’s made of natural bamboo and is an excellent addition to the line of bird feeders they offer. You get the same features such as the live- streaming and a SD slot to give you more memory capability but you also get two very LARGE bird seed reservoirs and a complimentary artificial intelligence (AI) subscription which my Hummer feeder unfortunately did not come with. The bamboo feeder itself is heavy, so be aware. It’s heftier than the plastic Hummer or any of the other plastic feeders out there. Make sure you secure it well! Installation was fine as the directions are clear and self-explanatory. You have to attach the perch extension but that just gives your birds more room. It even came with the small screw driver, for convenience. The Bamboo feeder came well packaged so no damage during shipment and it arrived fairly quickly.
We use our feeders as added protection to our backyard for unwanted (human) intruders but seeing the animals come in at night is extremely cool! We would definitely recommend Netvue’s new Bamboo feeder to any avid birdwatcher or someone who loves nature in general. It is solidly built and very user friendly.
When we purchased our Birdfy Feeder back in July, this app wasn't available. So, we have been using the Netvue app to check on our feathered friends. It's been underwhelming, to say the least. The Netvue app isn't difficult to navigate, but it's not for birding. The Birdfy app is clean, gives us timely notification of critters on our Feeder and I like that it shows you the last five clips from your feeder when you open the app, rather than the Netvue app, where you have to click on the "notifications" option from the feed view. And my wife and I love that we can easily see what other "Community" members have posted for everyone to see. The addition of labels on the tabs at the bottom of the screen and withing the Live view are also a great addition as well as the "Screenshot" and "Record" options. This app is really a step up from the Netvue app. Don't get me wrong, the Netvue app isn't all bad, I just think that this version of an app is more suited for birding. We're looking forward to putting our Hummee on in the Spring and really seeing what great videos we get and share with everyone.
The Birdfy app works with both our Birdfy Netvue feeder original Al version, and our newest Birdfy Bamboo-Lite. A seamless transition from the Netvue app to this one after login. The newer app has many features that are much more intuitive than the original. Labels of birds and navigation is a snap. The settings section is much simpler with a sleek interface. Love this app, and I love my Netvue Birdfy feeders!

Just installed the NetVue Birdfy Feeder Pole Station with camera and solar panel and could not be happier! Installation was quick and easy. So happy it ships with a squirrel baffle and has crossbars that I can move to fit my fly through feeders. Especially love the camera which can also be moved to focus on a particular area or feeder. We also have the NetVue Birdfy AI Feeder and cannot wait to double the birdwatching video capture.
We’ve had the first Birdfy feeder for about 6 months and have really enjoyed it. Just got the new Bamboo Birdfy feeder and it is fabulous! These feeders make me so happy and I look forward to see all the videos of the birds that stop by. We actually see lots of other critters that activate the cameras as well including raccoons, squirrels, possums, and our feral cats. Highly recommend the feeders and the app!
