My partner and I have been long distance for our entire 1.5 year relationship. We’ve tried several different couple apps as a way to stay better connected but nothing has stuck as well as this one has and it came at just the right time. It has things we both enjoy and we look forward to the questions and pixel game everyday. Ironically enough there are a lot of things in the app that parallels our actual relationship, so it really feels like this app was made for us.
There are a few additions that I think would be fun to have. I’d love to have more moods to choose from, because sometimes none of them fit quite right. My boyfriend loves all the different songs, so having more options would make him happy. I love that we can add our pictures by clicking on the frame, but it’d be cool if we had the option to pick a picture that would show at all times in the home instead of the cozy silhouettes. And it would be really fun if the map was interactive, so we could mark the places we’ve been lucky enough to see together.
But overall it’s a really cozy, loving app and it’s one of the things I look forward to everyday. Thank you for giving us a place where we feel closer even while being so far apart. 🥰

I’d like some more color options for stuff like the wallpaper, carpet, maybe even a floor pattern option. my main suggestion is a small one but one that I think would make it more fun and immersive. I would love it if the bonsai tree would change depending on the seasons, leaves would turn orange and then they’d fall off, maybe sometimes it could be snowy, stuff like that, and I’d love if the part above the house would change seasonally too.
apart from my minor nitpicks and the things I think would be cool, it’s a wonderful experience and such a fun way to end my night

I flew back home because my mom has cancer which has been a lot emotionally, and my partner is about 8 hours away with full time school and two jobs. I would say we already are a pretty healthy couple and everything but neither of us were too keen on the idea of LDR (I mean who is really?). We’ve both really loved this app. We named our virtual cat after the name of the spot we had our first date at and every time my moms condition changes and I need a check in I use the little emotion light feature and it shows up on his home screen. I am not one for texting and I don’t have social media. I’ve really enjoyed using this app sporadically throughout the day, I consistently feel reassured. My partner is also good at using it throughout the day. We also use the diary feature everyday and answer the prompts and it’s left me feeling a lot better. I really needed this right now and I’m grateful it exists. It’s made one part of my life a little better :)

We have been scrounging the store for one and it has been a blast. Having fun on this app, I instantly told 5 of my friends of whom they also downloaded the app with their partners! Really having fun with the mood switches, the little trivia, taking care of our pet, and getting to know each other on a deeper level.
Just observed the new moods in the latest updates and I really love it! I wish there were some features to be added with the frame of the world map picture. Having a feature where you click in and can document where you and your partner have travelled around the world would be cool. Also wish that some of the Trivia games could be played again but cycle different questions like the daily diary questions.
Would love to give more feedback if there is a chance but REALLY REALLY stellar App and great for couples both long distance or close distance… honestly whatever distance!

Thanks again for being part of the Cozy Couples community! 💜this is a really lovely little app and it really is so cute and so sweet! my boyfriend and i recently had to go long-distance and this has been a really sweet and welcome addition to our routine! would recommend even for couples who aren’t long distance; the daily diary prompts are a really great tool for building more connection and spark great conversations about what you love about your partner and your relationship. my partner is not a phone game guy at all and he loves this too, it’s not game-y but offers a little virtual home for a LDR complete with a pet and plant to care for together, virtual photo album, and background music.
the only reason i gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because i wish there were more activities you could do to get stars (which you need in order to do the relationship trivia games, which are also great and so sweet!). would also maybe be nice to have descriptions for the trivia since you need to unlock them before you can see the questions - some of the themes are self-explanatory (e.g. “first impressions”) but others are not as clear (“cozy home” or “pet persona”) and it would be nice to know a bit more about what those entail.
but truly this is a great app and i’m so glad to have discovered it! i told my bf the first or second day we used this that i was a living ad for this app bc every time i opened it, i would find myself smiling so much! thank you for making this, it’s a really lovely thing for long distance couples :)

We go on every few hours to update our mood and it actually is an easy way to just let them know what’s going on. I agree with a lot of the other reviews having a wider variety of moods would be so much fun!! Sometimes I’m feelin hangry, anxious, sneaky (when I wanna take their snacks lol) and also dumb ones like goofy, extra, fabulous. There are already a lot so thank you for those as well I love the ones that are there! 😇
Lastly I feel like when we upgraded to the paid version we didn’t really get to get anything super crazy besides the 200 stars. I know we unlocked a bunch of new things to unlock but I feel like having the subscription should maybe come with a tad bit more free things that we don’t need to use stats for! Like exclusive music selections, maybe access to change the color of your room, and higher star payouts while subscribed. Just ideas 💕

I also feel like you should be able to change the color scheme of your pet to make it match a real pet a couple may have. The only other nitpick I have is that could maybe be a few more emotions like sick or pensive, a few that adds just a little bit. Like I said I enjoy this game a lot and I can’t wait for more updates to come out.

Every single detail about this game is well executed, designed, and thought out. I loved the app so much I ended up buying the premium after 2 days! The diary and notes are definitely my favorite features to use. I’m excited to see what other kinds of games the dev decides to add because everything about this gives me high hopes.
Some recommendations/ideas: 1) being able to redo trivia games. 2) maybe some sort of co op drawings? Like a whiteboard or chalkboard to put in your home that you can edit whenever. 3) some more pet options (fish, lizards, rats, hamsters, etc) 4) maybe some sort of avatar that you can design? 5) more music options (don’t get me wrong, all of the available ones are SO cute) 6) being able to change the color and not just the design of objects!

i downloaded this app and a bunch of others out of disparity when my boyfriend and i were in a really terrible patch in our relationship. we both felt alone and isolated all the time because of the distance we have. we go to college together but we knew this summer it was going to be hard going from spending every day together to seeing each other a few days out of every month.
i was absolutely starstruck when i opened this app. it was cute, homey, and the activities were so fun--there's an activity to target each part of your relationship, big or small. i sent it to my partner right away and bought the premium subscription. we've gotten so much better at navigating the distance now and one of the main reasons is because of how connected we feel through this app. it's worth the time, the effort, and the money if you have it. it also supports the indie game devs too so i was happy to buy it! this app was seriously a saving grace but note it may not work in every relationship. my partner and i found comfort in sharing and doing these activities together daily, and find it rewarding when we gain stars to play even More activities together. i can happily say that we've been together for almost a year now. a huge thank you to the game devs. you helped my boyfriend and i grow into healthier, better people.
