I love this game I’ve been active with a streak of over 100 with my boyfriend and we both love it! We laugh at the pixel games and doing the small quizzes helps us understand each other more. I love the ideas of the diary though somethings seem repetitive. I also wish there were a few more moods! Such as upset, exhausted, unwell, sick, there’s quite a lot for happy and lovely moods but I wish there were a few more other feelings wise as someone with bad depression and anxiety sometimes it’s hard to put my feelings into words and so we use the mood lighting to help each other understand how we feel but I sometimes have a hard time picking a feeling in the app as i feel it doesn’t quite fit what I feel! Overall k love the game and I know it’s still updating so there is still hope! Amazing game <3

If I were going to change anything it would be adding more clickable items and customization elements. Allowing the user to see what a customization will look like before purchasing. It would also be really nice if the background showed the time of day, i.e. day vs night rather than always night. Ultimately the only thing I want is for the app to continue to expand because I really enjoy it.

It feels like a testament to how long we’ve been dating and how much we care for each other to see everything we’ve saved our stars up to buy and all the pictures and diary entries we’ve accumulated. It’s also great for checking in when we have to spend time apart, and reading his answers to the diary entries always makes me smile. I do wish that our diary entries and pictures older than two weeks weren’t hidden behind a paywall, but I understand the developer needs to make money somehow and I appreciate the thought and care put into the app regardless. I’m always excited to see what new features and customizations are rolling out, I love this app!

There are many features that connect you with your partner and allow you both to know each other emotionally. I do have a few suggestions though, even with premium we are unable to do much about the way the app looks, decorating it as if it were really our own. My partner and I are more dog people than cats (small thing I know lol) and it would be much better if we could have that instead. Also , with the photos I feel as if we should be able to pin our favorite photo to the main page in the picture frame. That way it can feel more personal seeing our own pictures on the front page. Lastly , I see that even with premium you can only send the affection every 5 hours? I feel as if that should be changed as well.

I have recommended to friends at this point as well because I really love the app so much. It is not only great with that unintentional mindfulness it gives me at night but I also just love the games and trivia we can play together. It gives me something to look forward to during the day.
I truly hope the developers continue to grow the app and give us more games, decorating options, and more things to do in app. This game has so much potential and I truly hope it keeps growing 🌱🩷

You can play music in your home, take care of a cat together, and write cute little notes to each other through out the day. There is a subscription, but I like that you can still get the benefits from the app for free as well; you just don’t get access to multiple games or cosmetics for your room. The music is great if you’re a fan of calming lofi, my personal favorites are the rain and morning selections. Here’s hoping they add more features as time goes on, but I’m liking what they’ve got so far and I’m sure you will too.

I initially downloaded it because he travels frequently for work. But (to my surprise) we’ve both stayed consistent about using it even when we’re both home. It checks several boxes for us as a neurodiverse couple in particular: gamification aspect helps us stay engaged with the app, the diary prompts help us express ourselves more effectively, the mood lights facilitate communication of our inner worlds to each other, quizzes offer us a fun way to learn/recall important information about one another, etc. Beyond helping our relationship, we find ourselves generally feeling happier through use of the app. For more constructive feedback: we are definitely looking for to more games and quizzes! Perhaps you could add something scrabble-like or checkers adjacent? Or maybe quizzes on topics like family and coping strategies.

Until then, stay cozy! 💜Wanted to find a convenient and low-stakes “game” the bf and I could play throughout the workday—we’re in the same office—and Cozy Couples had really stuck.
The questionnaire-style games aren’t all that deep or ever anything more than PG, but we are definitely learning things about each other. Its take on Instagram is literally just uploading photos with captions and that’s it—giving more MySpace than Instagram I guess… but it just works. There’s no pressure to post for engagement so a lot of photos we take on a whim and would normally delete every so often are kept somewhere we’ll see often. We’re all so busy and focused on the next thing; finding a way to preserve those small moments is a niche this fills quite nicely.
There’s a lot of content we haven’t gotten to yet though, but that’s kind of the point. It’s not about hi-scores as much as connecting throughout long, draining workdays.
What I would love to see is more decorative items and music. More colors, wallpapers, decor options—I sure hope there’s some coming down the line. Not looking for Sim-level customization but there’s definitely room for more. Great job!

We really enjoy the prompts from the diary, sending affection as lil reminders, being able to communicate how we feel in a moment even when we can't have a conversation about it, and committing to taking care of our pet and plant. It is a little frustrating that you've gotta have the plus edition to look back on old pictures/diary entries, we had found looking back on those really reassuring and helpful for self-sufficency in our medium distance relationship. The range of emotion is good but I agree it could be bigger! I also do agree with others that decor is a bit expensive to build up to, could be a lil demotivating, but I think the inclusion of more decor or maybe even more space to decorate including other objectives to tackle together may help? There just needs to be a bit more to do. But otherwise its a great app and we enjoy using it, it helps us feel and stay connected despite being miles apart. We'd just like to see some more and are excited to see what else there is to come!

I love the little setting and the simplicity, the games and plant. The *dual mood lights* are my favorite thing and I hope there are even more moods in the future (I can't see my old review so I'll list some I'd love to see, haha: cozy, silly, confident, understood, connected, motivated, inspired, sentimental, awkward, embarrassed, insecure, sorry, confused, nervous (or anxious)).
I wrote a review earlier saying it was almost perfect; just needed the ability to collect a few more points per day and a few more emotions - the developer updated with NEW emotions AND added a pixel game! imo the points are perfect for the mellow daily build of the game (just like a relationship takes daily care) and, while I'd love more from my list, there are enough emotions to convey a variety of feelings and set the little lamps!
I can't wait to see what fun ideas the developer comes up with in the future!
