Terrible
This is honestly one of the worst apps I have ever used. We have a car loan, do not wish to enroll in automatic payments bc we like to pay early. When we went to submit it said if we pay now, a second payment would STILL be deducted on the pay date. What? Why can’t I just make a one time payment early? We could not figure out how to unenroll and my husband had to go to the bank to do it.
We then wanted to make a one time payment on our loan and the only option we could find was to enroll back into the automatic payments. Why can’t we just make a one time payment through the app without enrolling in auto draft?? My husband has had to physically go to the bank the last two months to make a payment. If there is a way, it’s not at ALL user friendly or easy to find.
I can’t think of a single app that operates in this way. It’s highly inefficient and extremely time consuming to have to go to the physical location to pay every month. Please make it better!Show lessCan’t see memo/description for transfers
My family has a number of accounts and transfer regularly between them, and now we can’t see the descriptions for what each transaction is meant for in the app. This seems like an obvious field to include and was displayed in the old app but not the new. Now we’re in the dark.
I do, however, like that we can finally use the app to transfer between external accounts. That’s an improvement.Show lessApp Is Unusable
Everything about this app change has made banking with VACU worse. It’s harder to find information, harder to move money between accounts, and by far the worst - essentially impossible to see what’s going on with your account. The available balance and current balance almost NEVER match the actual transactions displayed in the accounts, and things come out in a different order (sometimes by days) than they are displayed to the user in the app. This situation caused me to accidentally overdraft and I had to argue with a manager for an hour and threaten to file a complaint with screen shots proving my point before the charges were reversed “as a courtesy”. I have been a customer of VACU for something on the order of twenty years and for the first time I am STRONGLY considering taking my business elsewhere.Show less
