The staff is friendly and helpful. I love the ease of the app and customer service. Plus their protection and fraud alert has saved me more than once! I left my bank of 16 years due to an increasing amounts of insufficient funds and over draft fees, that I couldn’t get away from. The new app runs faster and looks cleaner. But it has its bugs and problems. First is a nearly constant pop up message stating the app had an error loading current balances. Another disappointment is debit card on/off was removed. Third, I’ve pending charges stay pending for up to a week before posting. Fourth, there no longer is a current or available balance shown below pending transfers. I have yet to be overdrawn, but can’t help but think these issues could all be intentional. Every one of them benefits Great Southern by increasing the chances of their customers being overdrawn!

The new app is terrible. The old one was great. I loved it. But this new version is definitely less user friendly. Since I do all my banking online through the app it makes it very frustrating to use. I’m considering changing banks just to find a more user friendly app.
