Friendly and proactive for all of my needs. They have recognized me by sight starting with my second visit. I wouldn’t bank anywhere else!

I have used other banks and other apps, and this is my favorite! No matter what I do inside the bank outside the bank or online, it’s just easy and friendly.
Inconvenient transfer locking times
Im very well aware that banks can close sometimes but this is supposed to be app. My bank account is connect to it and i shouldnt have to have all my money in my checking. I seem to cant transfer money after 7 oclock and thats very inconvenient when i have stuff to pay for. And it seems the app has to close every other day it seems like. I couldnt pay for my groceries tonight.

The staff is friendly and helpful. I love the ease of the app and customer service. Plus their protection and fraud alert has saved me more than once! I left my bank of 16 years due to an increasing amounts of insufficient funds and over draft fees, that I couldn’t get away from. I haven’t had this issue once, since switching to Great Southern, over 10 years ago. Highly recommend!

Aesthetically pleasing, functionally disappointing
The new app runs faster and looks cleaner. But it has its bugs and problems. First is a nearly constant pop up message stating the app had an error loading current balances. Another disappointment is debit card on/off was removed. Third, I’ve pending charges stay pending for up to a week before posting. Fourth, there no longer is a current or available balance shown below pending transfers. I have yet to be overdrawn, but can’t help but think these issues could all be intentional. Every one of them benefits Great Southern by increasing the chances of their customers being overdrawn!

Terrible
The new app is terrible. The old one was great. I loved it. But this new version is definitely less user friendly. Since I do all my banking online through the app it makes it very frustrating to use. I’m considering changing banks just to find a more user friendly app.

Disappointing
I’m honestly already sick of this app. My pending items will show in my account and then an hour later everything is gone and my account is showing an inaccurate account balance and then a day or so later my pending items will be back. I have had my account over 3yrs and have never had so many issues. I’m about ready to just have my checks deposited to cashapp.

Hate it
Can’t stand the new app. Don’t like the new format. Not user friendly at all. Lost features. Miss the old one. Also, don’t appreciate all the advertising about how it will be so much better when it’s obviously a downgrade. It looks like somebody cheaped out somewhere in this decision. Nobody likes it-get rid of it or lose customers!

Top notch! From the bank manager at my local branch knowing who I am when I visit the lobby to the customer service representatives online always having the correct answers. Great Southern Bank is an Oasis of relief from a customer service dessert of indifference. Thanks to all your employees!
