App won’t open
Cannot get the app to open. I see other reviews saying it forces users to opt-in to tracking. I have my settings defaulted to opt out for ATT for all apps. I suspect that’s the issue. I’m not willing to change that, so I suspect this app won’t function until Eater addresses this.
Search and account icons on main map page smushed?
Just raising your attention to the fact that the search icon and account icons in the top left and right corners of the main map page are completely smushed horizontally on my display. I’ve tried re-downloading the app multiple times but the problem persists.
Sales people needed!
I can't speak to the few cities you can pick from on the Capital One app to actually use this app right now it's fairly useless in the Detroit market. You have a long way to go if you want to compete with OpenTable or Resi. I don't see the option to make reservations directly in the app either. Might be worth something someday but right now fairly useless.

loving using this app to know where to eat and love that I can keep a list so I can reference when looking for spots to go to when in different cities and neighborhoods
Good, but not great
Awesome app. One missing component is the ability to share a list via text.
Privacy failure
First screen asks whether they can harvest our data, with only a Yes button. Says we can change that later in Settings, but that’s completely untrue. Disrespectful of privacy and illegal in the EU. Fix please.

This app is clearly for the boring and unadventurous. Whole sections of Vancouver are shown as having zero restaurants, including areas with some of the best restaurants on the country.
Google and Yelp have more
The other two services just offer more info. They let you know _all_ the eateries closest to you and not just some in the nearest major city; they have reviews, many of which aren't paid-for; and they let you know if a particular eatery has gone out of business.

knew I wanted this, but this app has exceeded all my expectations - what a fantastic resource. Thank you eater!
