  • Skyrocketing Electric Bills

    Terrible app and product, our electric bill has skyrocketed after buying this. I thought this was supposed to be more efficient, not true. The app won’t even connect to our wifi.

  • Read the app reviews

    The app is so challenging to use, that the panels are frustrating to have. I wish there were a manual setting on the panels themselves because guests need to download the app in order to adjust their heat.

    The system glitches when I try to change the schedule and often doesn’t save changes that I want to make.

    Should I return these panels?

  • Great customer service!

    While the app may need a little more work, the customer service I’ve received from their support team has been fantastic. The issues that popped up with my order were quickly resolved. Have three units in my home and they work great in the areas I put them in.

    If you’re a techie, you’ll notice these units have super reliable Shelly controllers internally. Integrated them with my home automation system (Home Assistant) and they work flawlessly.

  • Worse ever app update

    Never experienced such a disaster with an update. Utterly useless
    Bring back the previous application asap.
    Gave 1 star but should be triple zero.

    I have 2 Fara heaters. They are working really well and connected well to the app. I’ve had good experience so far with the app and heaters. Found it easy to set up and to use.

  • Product ruined by latest update

    App was workable before, not anymore after updating the app product is no longer functional. It actually got me an increase of $250 on my electric bill from this app update. This is for 2 large kelvins with sensors.

  • Some bugs

    My experience has not been as bad as the others — set up took 5 minutes, I find the app simple to use — but the schedule is erratic. It seems to be on another time zone. I didn’t bother putting my home address during set up, and the default one was Lithuania. So at first the schedule was responding to Lithunian time zone (10 hours later). I changed the address, but it didn’t do anything. Then I adapted the heater’s schedule to fit the time zone it thinks it in. That worked partially. But there are random changes in schedule that don’t seem to be time zone related. It starts heating middle of the night, etc. Might try to delete the app and start over.
    That said, I can control the temperature manually. That works well.

  • Update does not work. Heater is useless.

    Followed their instructions to the letter, including step 1: “delete the old app”. This is after their “urgent” email asking customers to update. I thought it had to be an improvement over their previous app which was hard to use, but nope! The heater is completely useless now.

    At least pull this trick in the summer instead of January when people need to use it most.

    The app doesn’t work and it’s the only way to control the heater. So the heater is worthless. Also, I’ve reached out to customer support for weeks and have yet to get a response.
