The app seems to prioritize monetization over user experience or ethics. Moreover, their support system is almost non-existent.
Overall, I’d advise anyone considering downloading Mindway to stay far away. There are far better alternatives out there that respect their users and offer a smoother, more ethical experience. Save your time, money, and patience.

TOTAL RIP OFF
I signed up for a trail at £11 and for some reason money that I did not agree to has been taken from my account with no warning and no consent.
I think it’s utterly disgusting you hide subscriptions clearly somewhere in your T&Cs and make cancelling incredibly difficult with no option to unsubscribe within the app.
I would like a refund for the money you’ve taken without my explicit consent and would warn anyone not to download this app!

Clunky, Cumbersome and Renews Without Warning (No Refund)
It’s customizable to an extent, which is nice, however my entries and their icons frequently didn’t save properly, making them useless.
I did the 6-month subscription but failed to set a reminder to cancel, thinking that I was only buying 6 months. Nope. The app renews without warning and charges you. I’m sure it’s on page 177 of their EULA somewhere. Anyway, after seeing the charge of $56, I contacted them ~2 weeks after the automatic renewal and was told flatly there are no refunds.
My advice is to skip this app and use mindfulness techniques to catch yourself overthinking. Be honest about the stories you tell yourself and recognize them as stories. That’s how I ultimately broke these habits. It had nothing to do with this expensive and non service-oriented app.
