was perfect until it stopped working

worked for about a week before just sending me straight to the app and telling me that it can’t find the selected app and redirects me to on point; or whenever it does work, its not the same and redirects me to this app before landing on the selected app

Thanks a lot for your feedback! I can definitely understand your frustration, the old version used to work much better. It was not my decision to make the app work in a worse way. I have worked hard in the last couple of weeks to add a new workaround which makes the app a lot better, especially when used with custom apps. I would love to hear your feedback on this, you can find the new setting + tutorial in on point’s settings.

This update completely ruined everything

I was in LOVE with this app. But this latest update completely ruined that. Everything is so complicated now for no reason. I can’t add apps anymore without jumping through some hoop of importing shortcuts. Before this update, I could have up to 2 widgets. Not anymore. This update is horrible. I want to continue to use this app but this makes it completely unusable.

Ruined in latest update

The widget used to launch the app directly, now you are brought to a blank screen BEFORE opening the app you actually want. You used to be able to search for apps to add but now you have to add them manually with URL schemes? Bring back the old system, this one SUCKS.

Used to work

I was able to change the app names on the list but apparently not anymore, I also can’t add a second widget unless I pay? When that feature was free a day ago?

Edit: I wouldn’t even pay for the premium version because I’m not sure if there is a feature that I use that will get remove or change for a subscription only fee. This was a really good app, sadly the basic and I mean BASIC functionality is now behind a paywall

weird update

for a few days i was literally showing all my friends my home screen SO excited about this app. it sounds silly but i LOVED you could rename apps, so i could turn "Apple Maps" into "maps" but now you can't rename apps anymore, it made it so i can't add new custom apps if i don't know their url scheme, and to launch each app you now go through the on point app and then to your own app. feels more like "blank spaces" now than before where it had a bunch of features i thought were way better. i think a mixture of this new update and the old version of the app would be better.

LATEST UPDATE BROKE EVERYTHING

I loved this app and had it as my home screen ever since I saw it. Overnight an update got auto installed that ruined everything.
First, some of the apps I had have disappeared from my home screen and are no longer available by search.
The app used to open the applications automatically but now it opens “on point” first and then switches to the app.
Now it’s also asking me to add shortcuts for some apps to work too!
The app worked perfectly fine just yesterday and would’ve given it 5 stars if that’s the app I still had, I don’t want to be too harsh and give it a very bad rating now but hopefully these features are fixed and the app is reverted again

Completely Changed since last update

Downloaded this app 3 days ago and even paid for premium features to have separate setups for work and home. Worked incredibly well for the first 2 days. There was a long list of apps pre programmed and 0 lag time between selecting an app and it opening. Since the last update the number of preprogrammed apps has dropped a lot and. All custom apps have to be loaded through Siri Shortcuts. Creating shortcuts for each app I need is cumbersome and it means every time I open an app it launches the Shortcuts app and then launches the desired app which is an annoying process. Not sure how it worked in the previous version where apps could load directly but this new version is disappointing. Also no way to figure out how to get a refund.

Not a fan of the new update

Like the app a lot and have paid for premium.
Don’t like the new update. Opened my phone this morning and half my apps had disappeared from the widgets. Upon trying to re add them, some aren’t available - Habit Tracker in particular. This was available in the old version. url system is guesswork and I didn’t have any luck. Shortcut system is a work around but is clunky. Ability to customise names has also gone - now my Home Screen is full of “Google This” and “Google that” which is harder to use and less clean. Hoping these issues will be fixed soon…

Bring back 1.0.2

Loved the app, truly enjoyed using it until the update. I woke up this morning and now rather than the apps launching straight into themselves, the app now routes it through ‘on point / . ‘ and then jumps into the app I clicked.

This takes a moment longer and loses the real magic and speed of this app, which is what I really appreciated about it beforehand.

I would love to see this back please, for now I’m cancelling my subscription.

App was perfect

The app was perfect before ver 1.0.3.
Now apps don’t open instantly, every touch opens the On point app then the intended app. Or even worst, it opens the On point app then the shortcut app and finally the intended app. Is there a fix coming ? Thanks
