Olight Orb is creative , but the app asks for too many permissions
The app was easy to use and pair . Pairing with Olight orb was faster than any other smart home device. The app spams about 6-8 permissions requests at. Once. Developers should reduce permissions to the bare minimum needed to pair the unit

Had to disable push notifications and unsubscribe from mailing list, received way too many of both in just a few days after getting the app to control my sphere light. App constantly tells me my sphere is offline.

Why is there no dark mode? Dark mode came out in 2019, there's simply no excuse for not including it as an option.

Seemingly works, but pushes for updates and all that sort of annoying stuff while keeping you from using it less you do what they want 😒

Nice experience
My experience with the app has been wonderful. It’s handy to have my devices easily controlled by the app. I do wish they had a separate app for children, but I’m an adult. It’s very handy to log on daily and check what’s new and easy to find what I need.
