Landscape mode finally but…

This new app has landscape mode, which is great. Been waiting many years for this “feature” that I think all phone related apps should have. I shouldn’t have to rotate my phone for anything other than movies.

Cool.

But now, it makes me sign into the app almost every time I open it? This isn’t my credit union’s app. I don’t need additional layers of security. One sign in per six months or even a year should be sufficient.

Also, the buttons that raise and lower the light on my FarmXL 12 cause the lights to keep going even if you just tap them once. It’s terrible.

Yesterday was feed day, and instead of warning me, it just gave up and reset the time to 14 days. Scary.

Overall, I want to love this app, but I basically hate it until they fix all these problems.

They’re going in the right direction with the landscape (vertical, iPhone orientation) design. But almost every other aspect of this app is broken out of the gate. One extra star for making the orientation vertical.

Version 2.0.1 was just released that addresses the need to login each time you launch the app. If you hold down the Up/Down arrows in the app then it will move the light until you release the button. The tap behavior will be corrected in a future release. The timer on adding plant food for your Farm has also been resolved.

New app is Junk

It won’t let you use the old app anymore and when you try to set up the new one it says “garden already claimed” I bought this brand new, not used. Both the old and new app are complete garbage.

This issue should be resolved. Some devices were receiving an error while trying to update their firmware. Once the firmware finishes updating, you should be able to add it to the mobile app.

Application tries to sell you more than it helps you

This app is more of a marketing tool than a useful tool. First login tries to give you a discount to get you to buy more product just a glorified web app buried in what appears to be something useful. The app works for what you need but focus is way too much on trying to get you to buy more product. Lose the marketing and the app will be a lot better.

The team realizes moving to a brand new app may be disruptive so wanted to provide a coupon code to all users as a thank you for sticking by AeroGarden. If you don't wish to use the code, simply close the window. It will only be displayed for a limited time.

I want the original app back

I downloaded the updated app today and am very disappointed. I cannot raise or lower the lights on my Farm 24 from the app. It does not respond. It is on the island in my kitchen and I use the app because the controls on the garden are too high for me to see without clumping up on the counter. I can turn the lights on and off with the app but that's it.

For my Bounty Elite- it only gives me the option to adjust the light cycle for vacation mode.

I'll take the old app over this be any day.

Raising and lowering the lights on the Farm requires your phone to be connected to the same WiFi network that your Farm is. If you continue to have problems please email us at customerservice@aerogrow.com.

Scott is replacing an app that works with one that doesn’t. Absolutely the worst!!!

Very Disappointed

Everything work fine until the new app.Now I cannot connect to the WiFi or login if it isn’t broken don’t fix it!!!

Make sure you can login at the aerogarden.com website, then you should also be able to login with the mobile app. Please email us at customerservice@aerogrow.com with the scan code for your devices and we can assist you with connecting.

Constantly logs me out

There’s no option to stay logged in. I have had to log in it I don’t use the app for a while.

Unable to Add Farm 24 XL

I downloaded the app and was unable to add my products. I receive an error that says my product is already registered. That makes this new app useless unless your product is brand new.

Please unpair from the WiFi settings screen on the device and then add it again to the new account. The 2.0.1 release has added better messaging when the gardens fail to pair. Please try again and if you continue to have issues please contact us at customerservice@aerogrow.com.

Doesn’t transfer data from old app

I can’t enter my gardens in this app as it says they already exist. I can’t find them in this new app. Useless right now.

Solid Improvement

Installed on launch day and had a few issues but support was able to resolve and now I have all my gardens setup. Love the new design!
