Not sure why the hate

Maybe it was a clunky roll out but not sure why the app gets hate and only has 3 Stars. Recently downloaded the app and it have been awesome, great quality, and now I can watch the Stars anywhere!

Victory+ is better than Bally Sports. It’s just the beginning of the streaming service. We may have trouble but it’s okay, we will always support Victory+ over Bally! There is 1 request I have.
Could we have a Upcoming Category for Upcoming Games and a Rewatch Category for Finished Games?

Getting Better

I was disappointed I initially, not understanding that there was not a broadcast feed for away games. Since the season started it is now giving a more traditional game broadcast. In the first game or 2 it was freezing but seemed better in the Washington game. Hopefully, new releases will continue to improve the experience. Will probably utilize the Apple TV app when it’s done.

Thank-you for your feedback! For the pre-season road games we were able to secure an unproduced feed from the away arena to ensure fans would get to see the game. Replay

The fact I cannot fast forward on a replay of the game and have to suffer with the commercials multiple times, is ridiculous. Past games should allow you to fast forward to the place you want to start watching. I couldn’t get through fast forwarding through the first period without watching the adds 4 times. If you want to show me adds at the beginning, fine but I don’t need to see them over and over.

Awful, just awful

Watching the Stars home opener Oct 12 on Apple TV. Couldn’t start watching at the puck drop because you have to watch every commercial, even during the pregame. Halfway through the 2nd period, the app went back to the BEGINNING of the broadcast. Couldn’t return to where I was watching, so I have to watch EVERY commercial again from the first 2 hours!

Not viewable in Vancouver, BC, Canada

Am I doing something wrong? I read that games are viewable in North America. I gave the app my locations however cannot view in Vancouver.

Additionally, as per NHL territorial blackout restrictions if you are in the respective geo-location you will have access to Dallas Stars or Anaheim Ducks live games. Could be so good but glitchy.

I want to love this SO much but just can’t yet. Have yet to successfully watch a full game without having to uninstall and reinstall the app as the ads/commercials freeze. They freeze for minutes at a time and then no other buttons work outside of literally deleting the app and starting back over.

Actually as I’m writing this the actual game froze so it no longer seems like it’s just the ads. Hoping as more time passes it gets less buggy. Can’t see myself lasting with this if it doesn’t.

Great idea, needs polish

I’m really happy with the app and being to watch the Stars easily and at no cost from what I can tell. Being able to AirPlay it to your tv is great. A few little things could be better but it works, it’s free and has some good features.

Buffering; huddle format

Buffering stops the broadcast in the middle of a play over and over. Hockey Huddle format needs change so game fills screen. I don’t care about the discussion I usually have sound turned off anyway. Hockey is hard to follow when the screen is too small; it’s not like the NFL. Also consider the good thing about streaming is taking the game with you and watching on mobile or tablet.
