Yeah cancelled immediately, the seven day trial did not happen, took the year charge right out my account and like I said in title this app will be great when the tech is better but honestly it’s a bit of a con, you basically end up entering everything yourself anyway and absolutely everything in my fridge is from M&S and the app couldn’t find any of the barcodes. I've been using the Eato AI app for a while now, and overall, it's a solid tool for logging your food and tracking caloric intake. Eato counts every calorie I burn twice, once from Apple HealthKit and once directly from Oura (even though Oura saves exercise to HealthKit). This means my calorie targets are way, way off. Eato support confirmed the issue and said I can fix it in import settings, but there are no import settings and support has stopped responding to my emails! So unfortunately the app isn’t useful.
Update: developer contacted me and asked me to email but as I mentioned above I already emailed support on the 15th, 16th, 21st and 23rd without responses. Update: the developer contacted me asking me to email AGAIN which I did, and 3 days later I still have not received any response to that or any of my earlier emails from the past two weeks! Why are you wasting my time? If you don’t have a customer service team why are you asking me to email them?
Update weeks later, app still doesn’t work and still no response from customer service! When I update this review I get an apology from the developer asking me to email customer service, each time I email and get no response. Scam company.Show lessHappyPorpoise

Both when you scan a barcode, and when you search the name of the product, the app gives you very different nutritional info, and very different to that of the actual product! Very disappointing!
You tell users to keep contacting you about these issues but you don’t seem to be doing anything about them..

Buyers Remorse
I got the offer to get premium for a year for 40$ when I first downloaded the app with a timer counting down the offer expiring and I let that pressure me into making the purchase. However after using the app for about 12 days now I’ve decided I don’t like it very much. It’s not a bad app, I like all the recipes it suggests, but what I don’t like is when you want to create your own recipe, after several attempts of trying to input the ingredients as exact as possible, the calorie count never ends up being correct and you also can’t go back and edit the recipe once it’s created. I requested a refund which I may not get, but I don’t plan on continuing to use this app for the rest of the year. MyFitnessPal is better.Show lessRaeAnnG93

At first I was not impressed to be charged for free trial however I tried it to see what it was like.
Sadly I preferred not to go ahead and followed instructions for cancellation and refund.
I must say I impressed, my refund came through immediately.
All I can say is give it a go, these guys were so helpful which is why I gave 5 ✨Show lessTania stc
