A lot lot of people are saying how they paid for the free trial, but you don’t need to there’s an X in the corner. It’s kind of hard to see, but I always look in the corner whenever it says one free trial then you get it for free without the trialT yup yea it

The app does not work for Australia. They can not scan any barcode here. Also, while giving the photo to AI for analysis, they always either can not detect or wrongly detect or give abnormal calorie assumptions. Even after assuming wrong calories, there is no way to edit it. You have to start from the beginning. I mailed them regarding the issue but they never replied. And they charged the money from day 1. Be careful if offered a 7 day free trial. I was offered a 7 day free trial if I selected a plan - many apps make you select a plan but give you the free trial period to try out the app & cancel if you want, so I selected a plan under the impression - as advertised - that I was doing a 7 day free trial, but the company charged my card immediately (and unfortunately I selected a year memebrship which was most expensive). Because this is extremely deceitful/misleading I emailed customer service requesting a refund but they have ignored my request.
As for the app itself, I’ve found the AI photo food scanner tool is mostly inaccurate and misidentifies and/or ignores certain ingredients. Don’t waste your money on this app.Show lessloz528644

I signed up to the app which was off to a good start it then told me i got a 7 day free trial and proceeded to charge me for a month? wouldn’t of automatically signed up to it. They also didn’t make it clear that the free 7 day trial excludes 2 of the 3 subscriptions that you can choose from…. was hoping good things from the app however i just feel scammed.Show lessBec826

Eato counts every calorie I burn twice, once from Apple HealthKit and once directly from Oura (even though Oura saves exercise to HealthKit). This means my calorie targets are way, way off. Eato support confirmed the issue and said I can fix it in import settings, but there are no import settings and support has stopped responding to my emails! So unfortunately the app isn’t useful.
Update: developer contacted me and asked me to email but as I mentioned above I already emailed support on the 15th, 16th, 21st and 23rd without responses.
Update: the developer contacted me asking me to email AGAIN which I did, and 3 days later I still have not received any response to that or any of my earlier emails from the past two weeks! Why are you wasting my time? If you don’t have a customer service team why are you asking me to email them?Show lessHappyPorpoise

You have to buy premium to use what the app is made for. They might as well make buying the app cost money so you don’t have to waste your time. It’s a good app but you could probably find other apps that are exactly the same for free.Litfhiitc
