  • One of the Greatest

    The story... Epic
This isn't a game where you run around and shoot things. It's a defective game that intrigued me fully. It didn't scare me but rather thrill me with sound effects like a heartbeat, and doors slamming. It's simply crazy to think that someone made a story like this to play. I felt like I was in the game discovering a truth that may not be as it originally seems. I will defiantly play again and I'll encourage everyone else to play it it's so worth it on so many levels.
  • Chilling experience

The 8-bitness, the sounds, the atmosphere, the climatic story, it was overall amazing. I keep playing it in hopes to change the story. To make him look innocent. But even I am troubled and confused as to what could 've happened. What I left behind. What I wish happened and what truly did. Its a great plot [plots], awesome story development, the sounds, again, were amazing, and you didn't need the jump-scares to make this a truly horrifying experience. Thank goodness I'm not him!
  • Time filler

The game wasn't what I expected different and edgy for me. Adventure platform type of game engine. For 2.99 I'm kinda second guessing buying the game since it states to use best with head phones...no sounds make it difficult. All and all it's not a bad game it's different and it's a buy for sure but the sound on my iPad mini is missing big time. 3 stars is what I rated for now since there currently is no sound to enjoy.
  • Great, but....

Home so far has been a great game with only a couple crashes. However it is not scary (unless you do what the intro tells you). It may not be that scary but it is still fun! The only problem that annoys me is the crash when I am climbing the sewer ladder to the surface. Please fix this! (Great job!) (and IPod Touch 4th Generation
  • One of the Best

Alongside Year Walk, this is one of the best iOS games I have ever played – and I don't say that lightly. Benjamin has created something fun, something deep, and something worth playing again and again. Both the tone of the game itself and the intentional "setting" guidance (Play in the dark! Headphones!) really add to the experience. Oh, and smart choice having NO jump scares. That would have seriously detracted from the game.
  • Crashing

When I saw this game I thought it sounded like something I'd enjoy and I have except for the fact that even though the iPod touch bug was supposedly fixed, I still get crashing. The worst is when I was climbing the water tower. Now I can't even continue my game because as soon as I select continue the game just crashes again. I hope this is able to be fixed because I was enjoying this game.
  • I was very very disappointed

Well to call it a horror game would be using the term "horror" loosely. It's a wonderful game and it looks amazing but I found it kind of boring it builds way to much hype up around the whole creepy aspect of it and leaves you feeling robbed of an experience that could have been much better. I dident hate it but it wasent what they made it out to be. I was feeling very hopefully for this game and left feeling very unsatisfied
  • GREAT APP.

    Guys can't you read?
Why don't you read the first sentence up there before you download the app. Or even worse write an angry review about how you have an iPad 1 which this app won't work with. (It actually says that up there^^^^) So, please. Don't write stupid reviews if you haven't read the description. :)
  • Multiple Playthroughs Encouraged

People saying this game is too short are missing a large part of the game: you make quite a few decisions throughout the game that change the final outcome. At the end of the game you're basically given a nice rundown of what you could've done differently in a story summary format. I just finished my first playthrough and will definitely be playing again. I also highly suggest following the dev's suggestion to play with headphones on, in the dark, definitely adds a good amount of suspense. Overall enjoyable experience that keeps you guessing up to and past the end.
  • Serious sound bug

Update: rebooting the phone worked. Warning to others: don't play while a timer is set on your phone!

I jumped all over this one since it reminded me of another indie horror game called Lone Survivor. This one is quite different as its more focused on story telling through the environment, atmosphere and sound. Certainly creative and worth a look.
However I was on a work break when I was playing this, so I set a timer to remind me to get back to work. Problem is the sound is completely mute when I returned to the game later. Even rebooting the game doesn't fix the problem, the game has literally no sound whatsoever. Kind of a problem in this sort of game.
Please fix! The bug happened when my timer went off. I'm on the latest iOS on iPhone 5.
