  • Awesome

Let’s me tie all my home build devices together also offers better support than some device providers software. I can manage all of my rules in one place.

I base my hardware purchases on IFTTT support. It shows a sign of quality.
  • Easy programming beyond standard features

I’ve successfully used IFTT to set my Nest thermostat to run the fan for 15 minutes with one touch on a single widget button. This is very desirable to remain asleep instead of fumbling with the tiny controls on the Nest app itself, or having it tilt from portrait to landscape mode on you. Setting a fan to run for 15 minutes on the Nest app is a multi-step process that wakes me up when I need to sleep. I would love to see a widget button presentation that maximizes the description font size and offers color background differences to better distinguish one widget command from another. I solved this by minimizing my widget buttons and programs to the three that work well. Keep up the good work!

  • This is great

Honestly almost better than Siri Shortcuts. It would be good if you can have a Apple Maps function so you can get directions or something when you leave a specific place. Other than that, I love it.
  • Awesome.

Awesome - would be even more so if additional steps could be included, in particular being able to set s time period during which any applet is on or off.
  • Security Risk

This app is a joke. When I originally downloaded, I connected it to an account but did not use any new passwords. After reviewing the app itself, I decided it was not going to do what I needed to do. I also didn’t like that it wanted to connect with either Google or Facebook on my behalf. So I tried to delete the app. It would not let me delete the app without a password. However, the password that apparently has been assigned to the account is one that I did not use Ann is not matching any of the passwords I typically use. Hence, I could not delete the app. So, I attempted to send a request for technical support, but I was continually asked to select portions of pictures which I did repeatedly. I must’ve been given 20 different pictures. Bottom line,I cannot delete the app. I don’t know the password you’ve given me. There’s no way to delete the app and there is no way to contact your support team. I am very unhappy. Put it all together and I believe your app is a security risk.

    Developer Response

Hi there, sorry you're having trouble with this. Signing up for IFTTT with Facebook or Google is optional, when this happens IFTTT will randomly generate the account password for you. You don't need to know this password for social sign in, but you can always reset it and delete your account at any point as long as you have access to it. Check out this article for more details on how signing up with Google or Facebook works: https://help.ifttt.com/hc/en-us/articles/115010192927-Signing-into-IFTTT-with-Google-or-Facebook
  • Couldn't really find a use for this app

Had a look because it was "editor's choice" on app store. It offered a lot of suggestions about what it can do but most of the stuff the relevant apps will do anyway without IFTTT. Examples such as save photos to Google photos - the app does this, get a notification about today's weather at a set time in the morning? Weather Live does this. Seems to be a solution looking for a problem but people seem to like it.....not for me.

  • Won't regret the download.

Great App. Really user-friendly. Once you login to your accounts you won't have to do it again. Turn demands off and on easily. I set up 10+ demands in less than 30 minutes. Fun to play with. I have the lights blink at 8:30 pm to help remind me to take my medicine and have the weather pop up on my tv using Comcast 8:31 pm so after the lights flash I know to look at the tv to know what the weather will be like tomorrow. You can also create your own triggers within 5 clicks as well. Wish I would have found this sooner.

  • Great app

It looks great and powerful, although I don’t have any device to connect with to try does it really work.
I have a similar idea, but the difference is that I more want to build a app that can connect different apps in the same device. For example, set a time to play 1 hour music in a playlist or radio automatically

  • Works mostly

We have a love hate relationship with this application. It mostly works. The how to part is very unclear.

    Somewhere they need a Tutorial.

The abseiling to come on like iOS, or Google should not be relied on for critical information reporting. Very slow to update depending on network conditions. SMS seem to be not available even if you want to pay for it.

  • Great App

Being new to the app, I didn’t know what to expect. While I have only used a small portion of what it can do, I am super impressed with the functionality so far.
