“Upgrade” is a bust
I was completely happy with the original Print app, but was forced to “upgrade” to the new version with which I have had no end of problems. I wish I could get the previous version back.

Auto crops badly
It crops the print but leaves a big fat white line at the bottom. The aspect of the photo and pale are different so it has to zoom in a bit and crop. But is is cropping all sides which is unnecessary and then leaving a white line at the bottom. I couldn’t find any relevant help on the website. There are some setting but no tips or help on what they mean. I asked ChapGPT. The setting were already set to borderless but I did change “extension” whatever that means. I also clicked the crop button and adjusted slightly. It then printed ok. I’m technical and used many printers before. It took three prints. The second was from Photos app which did the same. Zero stars.

Works extremely well

At first I was unsure if I had made the right choice, but this printer exceeds my expectations, so simple to use once you work it out, maybe instructions could be easier for non tech heads. No need for a computer/laptop just prints so easily from my iPhone and iPad.
Review
When I try printing small words it does not put to well. Pretty blurry but good for bigger images.
Just ok features
Can’t do much with the photos in terms of alignment or adjusting size or borders or adding text. You have to do all your adjustments of the photo somewhere else and then add it to the app. It would have made it exceptional if you could so photo adjustments and text adding feature. Also connectivity to the printer is not always reliable.

Printing
I am able to print from my IPad but my phone doesn’t recognize the printer! Any ideas?
Pretty good…
Canon Print has been a very good area/app. However, the reason I rated it 4 stars is because when I do something wrong, it doesn’t tell me what to do very clearly, so I have to figure it out on my own, and sometimes I’m in a rush, so it’s kinda annoying. Also, it should tell you what the function does at the bottom so I fon’ have to try every single one, cause then it’s kinda weird and time keeping. But otherwise, it’s really good!
