Utter crap
Every few months I download it again and give it a try, and each time it doesn't detect the Humax box on my network. I'm in IT Engineer by trade so I'm confident I'm doing nothing wrong. It's a neglected app, still using low resolution and basic networking not working. Waste of time.Helluvajalapeno
It works!!! (On the 4000T as of Jan2017£
It doesn't look like the actual remote, but it's good for entering text, it gives you the whole functionality of the system, and you don't need to point it precisely at the machine. So 4 stars out of 5 to Humax for making an app that actually works! Yay!! Please fix the TV guide, though, that would be really useful.Show lessHeismann
Limited remote
Note this humax remote app seems only to work on the two models mentioned..... it would be very useful if humax could widen the very limited scope of this remote to incorporate at least their later popular models especially as the supplied remotes are very awkward in my experience to use.....sorry if I'm missing something here!Show lessOdonta

Won't reconnect with FVP-4000T
It worked the first time round but then will not connect again.
There's a confusing 'Go to trial version' option which offers a couple of phantom devices, neither of which work.
Humax are doing their reputation damage with such low quality apps. Connection problems should be a thing of the past.Csuibnjcgfjhn
The TV Remote & TV Live apps not working,
TV Remote app was working fine before like 8 months, but after an IOS update "I can't remember which one" the app was not able to launch (it crashes every time I run it), I've tried to change my LAN configurations and the my IR4000HD settings in all the possible ways and I've tried to update the IR4000HD firmware without a result!
Also The TV Live app started to have the same problem (it crashes every time I run it as well) although it wasn't working fine before the IOS update, I was able to launch it but I couldn't start the streaming.
My IR4000HD info is like the following:
Software version: MESIBE 1.00.16
Loader version: IRDETO 3.2.1Show lessM3N_80.
Make an API available? This doesn't work
If the app is at the back of someone's list, could an API be made available so developers can work on a better solution.
There is no reason why this app couldn't be great, a major selling feature of the boxes. I've never understood why TV interfaces are so very bad when good design is preached so heavily in the web world. A mobile phone is the perfect device to control the TV experience, if done well.

I have just bought a Humax HDR-3000T and this app does not work at all. I also note I'm not the only person having this experience. How many negative reviews does a company need before they make any effort to rectify their ineffective software?Bus###
