New 4000T user
Just replaced a 9200 with the above and after some teething problems all settled down perfectly. Also got this app when looking for something else on the Humax site. Downloaded it and it fired up straight away. No need to find Content Management. I don't know if that is a software update or to do with this model. Only giving 3 stars at the moment as I've only had the all a few hours, so want to see if the "unconnected" fault turns up. As already said not really better than using the remote - except - when you enter search details. The cumbersome system supplied can be avoided. R-Show lessDodger1951
Handy App
This remote is handy if you for some reason loose original remote, no batteries Etc. It worked fine but lately not at all. Kept telling me app needed to be on the same network as HUMAX box. I checked everything out then read the last review. Content share on the box has to be on. I can only assume this went off with the last update. So check that out if the remotes not working. Clearly no testing went into this app at all. It can't find my device allegedly yet if I can click on the trial version it finds my device with the ip it has but still doesn't work on it. It's pretty lazy work, the dev team need to pull there fingers out and get this sortedAchillesUK
content share setting must be on!!
Works great on my HDR-2000t but the content share setting (in internet settings) must be on! Why humax don't make this clear I don't know!!Martin Malyon
