Rubbish avoid

This is absolute rubbish. Took forever to set up because it wouldn’t connect. Played one round and lost all my data. Avoid like Coronavirus!!!

Game golf app needs improvement

There are three bugs that stand out to me when I use the game golf app. The first one is if I stay on a tab too long the app doesn't allow me to switch between the other tabs within the app. The second issue is when I play a round the app won't allow me to go back to previous holes forcing me to some other random hole. The third issue is the app doesn't remember my downloaded courses. The game golf app looks good, but it really has some serious bugs that need to be fixed!!

No longer working

It’s been flakely for quite some time. I even upgraded to the Live version but it has only made me feel ripped off. Why would I even consider buying the new offering? Crazy!

It’s Working!!!!

Received my replacement pro tags 2 weeks ago and it’s working really well.

Club selection (including putter) has been spot on from the first round. Almost no interaction required. Every shot was automatically detected.

I had the first release tags which I struggled with but these new ones work perfectly.

Unresponsive Customer Service

My Pro tags only worked for about 6 weeks before the batteries started dying one by one. I was told by customer service (Adam) that they would be sending me a replacement device on June 7th, again on June 12th, and again on July 19th. They never sent anything, and now after repeated emails and social media messages they have been unresponsive for the last 4 months. My device never worked right, and they effectively stole $300 from me. It’s not the end of the world, but with a young family, that could’ve paid for a lot of diapers instead of wasting it on a paper weight from a company that I’m not sure is even in business anymore. I should’ve read more reviews before I purchased anything from GameGolf!!!

Do not waste your money

Update after I finally received a new base unit 4 months later. I keep the rating of one star only because you cannot give it 0. Now the gps unit will connect to my phone but I cannot update or even remove and start fresh with tags. I ended up removing all of them from my clubs and since they do not have ID’s on them I don’t know which club they were in.

The gps pro unit I purchased and used 1 time will not connect to my phone mike from support (which is the only way you can communicate, they do not have a live person you can actually talk to) committed to sending me a new unit on June 26 - it is now August 18. I even had my golf coach who use to represent them try to call them and he could not get a response.

There CEO sent out an email apologizing and commuting to get things fixed but also will not respond to an email.

I logged over 260 rounds with the old unit, looks like I wasted $250 on the new version. Shame on you game golf.

They also charged me for the software that was suppose to be free for the first year and will not give me a refund. So in total I wasted $300.

Pro Version 👎

The original Game Golf Live is a great game tracker that gives you fantastic data. The Pro Version absolutely stinks though. Multiple shots not recorded, and to make matters worse it records shots that weren’t even taken. After multiple rounds of frustration I went back to the Live Version which worked well for a while but now won’t even let me login. Uninstalled and reinstalled app, no go, just frozen screen. Customer support used to be great and that, like the latest product, has gone down as well. Sad.

No tech support!!!!

I used the app once on my new fitbit ionic and then all of a sudden I was not able to open the game golf app on my Fitbit. I emailed tech support about 8 times over the course of a month to get it fixed and I still have not received any tech support. I tried all the normal B.S. uninstall reinstall log out log in I even went as far as completely resetting my Fitbit, still nothing! Called Fitbit spent an hour on the phone and only for them to tell me I need tech support from game golf about there app. Yea the game golf app works on my iPhone but I want it to work on my watch!

Could be good but customer service is horrible

Its a shame the product has so much potential but with the current management team at the helm it stands no chance.

Got a problem? They don’t care. Won’t answer. Won’t help.

Been using Live for over a year now and had the tagging device fail and countless issues with the app not loading strokes at the end of a round.

I’d advise to look elsewhere.

Game golf pro

I would not recommend this system I have tried it it simply does not work I threw it in the bin ,I tried Arccos it worked perfectly from the start I love it don’t waste your money on game golf pro they still have a lot of work to do to get it going
