The app is broken... again
Maybe take a little less time spamming me to upgrade to your new ‘pro’ version and a little more time fixing the app for all of the people that bought your original Game Golf Live. Or maybe that’s your plan? Purposefully cripple the old one to make people upgrade. Pretty slick.
I purchased GGL two years ago and used it for 6 months before deciding that doing tech support on the golf course was not conducive to a good round. I stuck it in the bag and forgot about it. About 7 months ago, I read a post that you’d ironed out the issues and gave it another try. Worked great and have been using it every round... until you introduced the ‘pro’ version. Now the app crashes constantly and I can’t get through two consecutive holes without having to force-quit and restart it. Looks like it’s going back in the bag.

Hi jonlevine, Thank you for your feedback and sorry to hear about this experience. Please email support@gamegolf.com and they will look after your issues. We had some issues pop up when we merged the PRO product in with LIVE but we have no intention of phasing LIVE support out. We stand by our products and hope to have you back up and running as soon as possible. GAME GOLF Team
App is worthless
Update: Still no fix to the below problems, which was over 6 months ago. Again I contacted customer support and was told a fix should be coming soon. I won’t hold my breath. It doesn’t matter how good the tagging system is or if they switch they switch to the tagless system, if the app is terrible then the product is almost useless. Dropped my rating to a 1 Star. I would buy an Arccos instead.
Since there latest update it doesn’t make it easy to go back and fix previous holes. You click back to previous hole and it just reroutes you to the current hole. Very annoying. I even contacted customer service and they said a new update should be coming soon. That was 3 months ago.

Great app and support
I got game golf live at Christmas and have just done a couple of 9 hole rounds so am still a newbie but have to say I am really enjoying it, finding it easy to use and interesting to view stats afterwards.
As a lady golfer I found my local course scorecard had the wrong ladies’ par on a couple of holes and contacted game golf support. They fixed it for me really quickly and I’m delighted! Would definitely recommend this to others

Update the update
Normally a stable app that gives you multiple levels of useable data. Since the update today it crashed multiple times while I was using it. Never been this unstable before.
What a joke
This new update (3.0) keeps crashing. Watch won’t work without the app running and the app keeps hanging and needs to be restarted... and you want me to upgrade to the Pro tags??? Sounds like you are forcing me to do that if it won’t work with the tags I already bought... pffft not happy, work round of golf ever... to busy trying to get this app to work instead of focusing on my golf... rubbish.

Latest update...
And more months later, I still get three or four holes a round with shots on the wrong hole. Obvious ones, like tee shots on the next hole, sometimes the second shot as well. It knows they don't belong, as you can't even edit them out. It's soooo close! Please, it used to work much better than this!

Isn't getting shots on the right hole nearly as well as the previous! I want to back up!

Great tool
I’m actually waiting for the pro version of the hardware so I just manually enter in my shots with the free app. It’s an amazing tool. It used to be only the pros could get this info. Not sure why there are complaints. Sure I may miss a shot every now and then, but I just hit the edit button and add it in. Even uses not much battery with my iPhone Xs. I have played 12 rounds with it, and wouldn’t continue without it.
It says I need to work on putting and driving to reach 5 handicap. Probably true. 😀

Used to be good. Now, not so much.
A year ago I bought the physical tracker for $125 and downloaded the game golf app. The app worked well with distances and gps tracking even in low signal areas. I never saw an update but I'm guessing the game golf company decided that a FREE app was not profitable enough even though the equipment cost is $125 per unit. I went to use the app on my last round and now none of the courses in my area (Las Vegas)are available to download. The app also didn't allow me to chose which tees I was playing from. I played the first hole using the tracker and sensors to test the app. It failed. No data whatsoever. It just continuously asks me if I want to sign up for the premium service. I imagine if I do sign up, everything that used to work right will work again? BAD update!

No iPhone X support
I loved using this app along with the belt clip and RFID tags on my iPhone 6S but just upgraded to iPhone X only to find it doesn’t work at all. I have nearly 60 rounds logged with no way to use this anymore. What a shame since at the time of this review it has been nearly a year since the release of the X. If this company isn’t going to keep up to date with new phones, the app should be removed from the App Store until it does.

This app worked great last year. My first two rounds it wouldn’t even load the course.
