1 in 3 posts fail to send, very annoying and surely the techies know this so fix it or tell the users how to avoid the problem. Readers spend time putting together a script only to see it erased. Not a good app. PC version is so much better.Neil1953
Only want your subscription
This was ok at first then all of a sudden it kept showing Premium stories that you couldn’t see until you paid for subscription, then it started limiting how many stories you could see each day . So deleted the app.steve3210_5
Who’s going to pay?
Why would anyone in their right mind pay for this after they limit the amount of articles read when can go on a desktop site/facebook link and it’s free? DeletedLuke_griff
New Improvements
The new update stops people from reading articles if you don’t subscribe. Why would you subscribe to an inferior written newspaper. If I want to keep up with any news in Teesside I will find another way.PR1493
The sport writing is crap
The nob sock who writes the sports section isn't even local to the area and he is so fat and lazy that he doesn't even check his work for factual correctness or even basic spelling.
Very often it reads like a 7 year old has written a piece. He should be fired along with all the other lack lustre hacks at the EGShow lessDT2265
App not working as planned
App is slow to update news and commenting doesn't appear to work. When you click on it, it just says "opps there's a problem and we're writing on it "Mav6532
MORE ADS THAN ARTICLES
The amount of ads on the Home Screen and every article is ridiculous, I’ve just read an article of 4/5 paragraphs and each was separated with an ad. It’s frustrating, the app is the only way I can read the news as I don’t live in the area anymore but I’d rather live in ignorance than see that many adsShow lessMattyjmageean

Articles headlined to cause a reaction , to then censor any opinion
Don’t like the idea of this company financially gaining when they fail to operate as a fair unbiased news organisation.
They click-bait and manipulate stories to stir up a reaction. Then you’ll leave a comment only for it to be deactivated for ‘violating the guidelines’. There is no freedom of speech yet they ask for community input via a comment section.
Had my comment deactivated when sympathising with victims of an incident , whilst another comment was left untouched reading “scum of the earth”.Show lessbobby reveiwer
