Yay!

Photos in iOS 12 is dreadful, the way they mangled photo albums is terrible. I want the iOS 11 single screen album view not two separate areas one of which is an awful horizontal scroll!

This app looks great. If it had the album overview then it would be superb, hopefully they will add it in the future. As it is the side list is at least better than the iOS 12 Photos version.

Bought it after 5 minutes.

[Maybe I will have to look at iOS 12 again and just use this app rather than Photos instead of blocking the updates.]

New user with questions

I downloaded this app last week and so far a love it. Organizing my pictures is super easy. I like the tagging option. And I am especially interested in the private album options. I have been able to add photos to a private album. But once they are in the private album how in the world do you find that album to vi3 the pictures in it!???

Also, the online Usage Guide could be more comprehensive.

I am not sure where the app developers are located but I get the sense that they are not American or Primarily English speaking in that the word choice and usage in the guide can be challenging to understand what’s written.

This app has great potential if a few things are addressed and polished.
Thanks

Good for tagging

I spent the evening looking for a way to quickly rate my photos as a prosumer photographer. I didn’t want to import the photos from my camera just to have to import again to an app, which seemed to be the way any app that can access the exif rating works. So I gave up on that and opted for a tagging solution, which would be a quick fix later. This was the best i found for that. I can multiple select and tag in bulk. I can select specific tags. Then my tags get organized as virtual albums for quick viewing. I know tagging is not really the focus of this app, but it was the best for what I was looking for.

Add quick rating feature without having to tap into menus and I’ll pay for that.

Everything the "Photos" app SHOULD be

THIS is the app the native iOS Photos should have to been all along. I've been searching for a superior photo gallery app that syncs with Photos for ages, and now I've found it I'm never going back. Tagging, sorting, mapping, and multiple ways of organizing—this has everything and more! After exploring Hash for 2min I was obsessed and happily bought the full version. Reasonably priced, intuitive UI, and has every feature I could ever want. This is how it's done, Apple.

Best photo organising app available

If you like to keep your photos organised in albums then this app is a must. The ability to create a smart album that shows photos not already in an album (!#inalbum) makes it easy to see which photos still need organising. One addition I’d like is the ability to have different swipe areas like Lightroom, where I can swipe up/down on the left to tag the photo with pick/reject, and swipe up/down on the right to set a 1-5 star rating tag for the photo, that would make deciding what photos to keep easier. Please also fix the blue histogram curve, and make fine rotation adjustment easier. Overall great app.

A step up from the iPad app

Loads of additional features and a well thought out user interface for those who want to actively manage photos and see their image metadata easily.

Has Potential

The ‘Find Similar’ is great. The ability to see file size on the thumbnails is great.
Set location, Adjust Date/Time and Resize are handy.

Tags and Memos are mediocre. These don’t seem to sync with Keywords and Description on the MacOS Photos Info box.

But you CANNOT sort by file size. Only Date/Time is available for iCloud Photo Library photos. You can sort by File Size on Local Albums. BUT. If you try and add photos/videos to a Local Album, it wants to DELETE these items from the iCloud Photo Library!

So. App has potential, but seems to be misleading on a few items.

Organizing pictures the easy way.

Excellent app! Organizing pictures with Smart albums using tags , dates location is a great future of the app.
However, When transferring pictures from iPhone to iPad, I lose the ability to see the memos. The tags transferred fine but memos disappear. I double checked transfer both ways between iPhone to iPad. I checked my settings I couldn’t figure it out. Please fix!
The good news is that tags and memos are conserved when transferring pictures to PC. I used DigiKam in Linux and I was able to see the tags and Memo I entered in iPhone and iPad.
Thanks for this nice app!

Incredible App but...

I wish there was an option to directly import photos into Photos library to eliminate several steps. I love the wireless exporting feature. First I wirelessly send the photos to my iPad Hash Photos App. After I confirm that the photos have arrived, I delete them from my iPhone. Then on my iPad I view, delete, edit and tag more easily and quickly. I am most interested in tagging. Then I wirelessly send them to my MacBook. Then I import them into Photos. After confirming the import, I delete the Hash Photos folder with all the photos.

I don’t use iCloud because I live in a country where the internet is too slow. Maybe in the future I could just sync with iCloud Photos...

Apple should buy this app and incorporate it into Photos.
