  • Just the best. Perfect app

    As an ADHD person, I've tried an infinite number of time tracking and productivity and product management apps. I've bounced around from app to app for years. This is honestly the first step. I've stuck with for 2 whole years! The automated tracking apps, like Timing and Timemator have also been really good for me however, when it comes time to do my billing and invoicing, those just takes so much longer to sift through everything. Whereas Daily is much cleaner and simpler and quicker for me. Overall, this might be may vote for app of the decade!

  • I actually use this app

    I've tried countless apps to keep track of my work, but this is the only app that has managed to get me to actually "log" all my hours. The reason is simple: it prompts me and makes it easy to note what I'm doing.

  • Very simple, very clever

    Three days in and finding this very intuitive. I think the gentle prompt every 15 mins is a clever feature, keeps it very lightweight, and otherwise I would forget to log my time. Also finding it easy to build time categories as I go. Great that it works across all my OS devices on same Apple ID. And great to hear there's an iOS version in the making. Thank you.

  • Simpler is Better

    I love the sampling approach. So much easier to answer a question periodically about what I'm doing than it is to try to remember what the heck I did three hours or three weeks ago.

  • It makes you aware of time

    This is the key! I've set it up for every 10 minutes. Because it's always asking what I'm doing I'm able to appreciate if I have been effeciente during this time. It helps me question if I'm on track or not. Excellent tool. Bought the lifetime version.

  • Project Tracking

    I have the need to track my time spent on each of my projects through the day. As Director of Customer Success I am constantly being pulled into new things or off of projects all day. The ability to customize my list, as well as the location of the controls from the menu bar allows for me to easily pivot my focus and more accuralty track my time through my day. It has also been very valuable to analyze my prior days time highlighting that I take very few breaks or lunches. working on building those times in so they do not get skipped.

  • Best. Time. Tracker. Ever.

    Reviews are usually lame. Unless someone has tried everything and landed on the solution you're reviewing now. The key is stuff like this has to be right for you. If you don't like time tracking, have a hard time remembering to start, and/or stop tracking time. GET THIS APP. Once you get used to the pop-up dialog it's like living by a train tracks, you don't even hear the train. I've used this for years now and the developer is the most friendly, responsive folks I've come across. Just give it a try!

  • Exactly what's needed to track time

    This app offers a simple UI, core features and a few useful keyboard shortcuts to make time tracking on my MacBook a breeze. The pricing is very reasonable and modest compared to other apps I've tried. Given the long time track record of this app, I bought the lifetime license and have been using it for over two weeks. The more I used it, the more I appreciate the author's thoughtful and non-intrusive design. Even this rating/review request popped up at the ideal moment, i.e. after I've used it long enough time to truly understand it, but not too long such that I would forget about its existence (a compliment due to its non-intrusive design). Thank you, author! Keep up with the great work!

  • Beautifully simple time tracking

    I was a bit confused about how this app worked at first. It certainly doesn't operate like the other time trackers I've used. I then realised that it's genius - it really does take care of time tracking for you. I constantly forget, but Daily is always one step ahead of me. I love its simplicity but with so much power going on under the hood. Daily has quickly become indispensable.
