  • Time tracking is effortless now

    This is a light-weight solution that makes tracking time a whole lot easier.
    Before using Daily, I found it so hard to track my time because it never fit my workflow.
    I'd decide 'what' to work on and then inevitably forget to stop the timer when I moved on to the next thing! The whole process felt really stilted and unnatural, and eventually I'd give up.
    But Daily has made time tracking that works the way humans do. You get started, and it follows your lead, prompting you to select what you're doing.
    It feels so much more motivating and dare I say it, effortless. Really love this app.

  • Can forget about time tracking!

    I can never remember to track my time - but this app flashes up and is a super quick click with my mouse to highlight what I'm doing!

  • Smartphone App needed

    For someone not always working on the same computer and not always on a computer, DAILY is not very useful. It can only track half my tasks (time). I like how it works on my Mac, but it has to be more accessible for my needs.

  • Half way there

    For those who, like me, let their time recording slip, this is a lifesaver. It prompts you to record time and makes it easy to do so and to aggregate (though it is all too easy to over-record, because even if you have been browsing the sports pages for a few minutes, it will ask you what you did for ther last 15 mins and you will tick "Project B" or whatever. So you need to go back to correct.

    BUT WHERE IS THE iOS version!?! I will happily pay for it, as I have done with Sidenotes, but the amount ot chartagable time spent on the ipphone, and yet no way to record it, and no prompting? Please! Daily you need to make an iOS version that syncs and soon, before the churn back to Clockify and others (all of whom have iphone apps as well)

  • Easy and Accurate Timekeeping.

    I no longer worry about not recording my work or not being accurate, Daily does it all for me. All I have to do is focus on my tasks and Daily periodically asks me what I'm doing. I can check my progress during the day or I can review at the end of each day. Daily has increased my efficiency.

  • Cannot get it to

    The UI images on the app store I cannot see on my macbook pro. All I get is an annoying drop box at random times throughout the day on my menu bar that does nothing ... but annoy me. Where is the UI?

    Daily runs in your menu bar. Click its icon to open the dashboard, which gives you access to all its functionality. The prompts displayed at random intervals are part of Daily's way of tracking time (it periodically asks what you are doing instead of requiring you to toggle timers).     I love this app for tracking my time! It helps forgetful people like myself who don't like using a time sheet and allows me to aim toward work-life balance by checking my time!

  • Best time-tracker I've ever used

    When I read that Daily would ask me regularly what I was doing I thought it would be intrusive.

    On the contrary - it's super discrete - one click to confirm and it has a very clean UI for rearranging tasks or fine-tuning data.
