UNLOCK DOORS WITH YOUR PHONE With the Kisi app, you can use your iPhone to quickly and securely unlock any door equipped with Kisi. - See the list of the doors you have access to and unlock them from the app - Tap-to-unlock*: open a door by holding your iPhone up to a Kisi Reader - MotionSense*: wave your hand in front of the reader to unlock the door without taking your phone out of the bag (only supported by the MotionSense-enabled doors) - One single key for any door in any building * require bluetooth permissions. Poor performance, even worse tech support!

The app doesn’t function at base level, the “troubleshoot” information available is absolutely useless, and tech support is inexperienced and inept. I have spent many frustrating days going back and forth with tech support to solve what should be a straightforward issue, only to be sent on wild goose chases. If I wanted to repeat myself over and over and over again, I’d talk to a brick wall. DO BETTER.

What is this app?

Had to download the app to go in a door but didn’t end up using it. 2 weeks later I’m cleaning up my apps and i’m asking myself what is this Kisi app. It asked for my email address when i went into the app but didn’t say what the app was for. I had to go back here to the app store to see that it was a door app. Maybe put some more context in the user interface what this app does.

After signing in, Kisi provides a walkthrough to explain how it works, including its purpose for secure and convenient door access. If you missed it, you can always revisit it in the app settings.

No privacy

The latest version seems to only work if I set my share location to always - there is no need for this app to know where I am when it’s not activated.

The 'Always' location setting is only needed if you're using the app with a physical Kisi reader, allowing the app to detect when you're nearby and prepare for unlocks in the background.
