  • Mind-blowing, Even for Reality-bending Afficianados

The graphics are beautiful, characterisations realistic and likable, and the story grabs you and drags you willingly (eagerly) in. What more could one ask for? Well, how about a cinematic presentation? Time travel? Primo twists? Parallel realities? Making people happy (gamers and characters alike)? The music is perfectly chosen for each environment (rarely had to turn it down), which is an element in games that can cause annoyance and confuse the player, especially if it's louder than the voice acting. No voice in Lost Echo, but this omission didn't detract from the immersion at all. I loved this game. It's nice to be surprised not only with a unique plot, but with massive thrills over a game I thought would just be 'good'. Awesome. Buy it!

  • Great game

Reminds me a bit of Welt Am Draht, an old German movie where a character disappears, unfortunately, I haven't watched much of it. Back to the game. The graphics are pretty good, AND THERE IS ANTIALIASING!! So many good games are aliased. The storyline is good and I can't wait for the expansion.
The only thing I feel is missing is character voices, but if they are there, but bad, it only makes it worse, so it isn't that bad.

  • One of the greats

This game probably has my favorite storyline on the iOS. The gameplay was good and easy to get a hold of. The puzzles were neat and had a great source of depth. The graphics were really good, and the music fitted in well with the game. The story kept me guessing the whole entire game. I played this game on my iPod touch 5 and didn't run into any problems or glitches. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good story.

  • Worth the 3 bucks

Listen man i usually dont write many reviews cause it's annoying but this is worth it. Long story play but you can still get through it in one day. I just got through it once and i think I'll play it over again since they gave you so many different choices to the questions which makes me curious if there's different endings.

  • Thanks for the brain beating!

Oh my god! Endless dialogue, & that which forces you to go in one direction even though you're given (really just 'play along with') choices, by then of which you will have tapped your fingertips to adnaustic redundance. And - you are being 'trained' to think one way; to be lambasted with zombified socialistic plastic, or be rebuked for not being enough of a feminist,. . . or something. If, and when, you finally get to 'play a game', dare not miss the cue or you'll have to go through the whole recent dialogue all over again before you can tap on to your next clue(if you can find one - most objects that look playable are not). It looks nice & is produced well which is what I usually demand in a purchase; so, if you are willing to go through zombie training, & patiently at that, and forego all personal thought and freedom, then 'by all means' purchase this 'game'. (Yes, I am being sarcastic)

  • Definitely worth it!

Great storyline, excellent soundtrack, loved the graphics. I only put it down long enough for my battery to recharge. I like a challenge, but not something so extreme or frustrating. It's supposed to be recreation, not hard labor, so I think it was nice. Wish I had more control, so that I didn't have to use the hint as much. Not too long, not too short. I'll definitely look for more from the developers.

  • Good graphic adventure for $$, but short

Looking forward to promised added content. Current ending leaves too many open questions, and obvious need for a sequel.

Interesting story, though time travel isn't my favorite plot device. I liked the graphics, story, puzzles (would have liked a few more).

Puzzles were sometimes a bit stretched, but built in hint system saved. Only real complaint was that kitchen was too hard to find, not visually apparent unless you move to just the right place.

  • Best Storyline

This game is truly brilliant. I thoroughly enjoyed playing it and I couldn't put it down. It was worth the three dollars.

Pros: Great storyline that makes you think and is immersive as well, pretty good graphics, lots of details in the scenery and a hint button if you ever get stuck; it walks you through step by step.
Cons: Some of the puzzles are almost a little too easy, and though it has a great storyline, there's lots of text to read. Pretty slow gameplay; it will take time to get through it.

Overall, it's a great game. Personally, I didn't think that the text was excessive, because it kept you with the riveting storyline. The hint button was helpful if you didn't want to play a puzzle or needed to get through something faster. The graphics were good, but the interaction between the character and objects could've been better. It didn't hinder the gameplay, however. It's worth your money, but have patience to play the game.

  • Meh

    Graphically this game is amazing.
However, there were some things I didn't like. The difficulty of the puzzles were all over the place. Some very hard, some very easy. Some parts of the story were too dialogue heavy for no good reason and left me bored. Like when you have to ask all the questions in the book store. Too many plot turns.
Also the ending didn't leave you satisfied. I don't know what all the hype about this game is. Maybe I just didn't click with it.
I give the game an A+ for graphics,
    C+ for story.

  • Razor thin storyline

I'm giving the game 3 stars because while it is graphically beautiful, the story was pretty anemic. Some of the puzzles had a pretty convoluted logic to them, but you can get through it with the hint system. Gameplay was also a little on the frustratingly slow side in a lot of places. What really killed me was reaching the ending of the story when it felt like I was still in the exposition. There was no feeling of reward or even explanation in the end. If this was a conscious choice by the writer than I applaud his artistic courage, otherwise it feels like he just ran out of story to tell. It did keep me engaged for a little bit, but I'm glad I got it on sale and I probably would not plunk down money for a sequel.
