I have not had any course to regret since I started using the Booksy app for my salon bookings, it’s so easy to work your way through the app and my customers love it. I have had quite a few clients through the app but I believe there will be room for more with time as I have not used all the marketing tools available on the app. Overall I will recommend the app, I’m happy to continue using Booksy.

Amazing!!

I have been using the Booksy app for my home beauty business for a couple of years now! It saves so much time going back n forth with my clients working out suitable appointment times. They can just jump on Booksy and see my availability and book themselves in! Total game changer as I am not constantly on my phone!

Loyalty Programs Needed

This is an amazing app! I believe if you implemented client loyalty programs in this app, it will standout! More barbers need this.

I’m a Stylist of 10 years in the hair industry. I have recently ventured out into my own Salon! Booksy has been a major help! My experience has been made easy with the exceptional support from the team! Gabi was a team member that helped me through the set up process and making my profile look professional! She did an amazing job double checking everything over! My clients experience has been that it’s very easy to use and very straightforward when it comes to finding what they are looking for. I tried out other apps to ensure which would be best for my business. Booksy is the right choice for not only myself but my clients as well. Thank you to the Booksy team for always being on top of it and for always making sure everything is running smoothly! You guys truly have answered all my questions and then some! The advice and kindness I have received from each member has honestly been a game changer! It’s awesome to know that I have a great support team on my side whenever! Terrible Experience

We signed up for a free trial to check out booksy as an option for our scheduling software. Without having a completed profile or services set up, booksy linked our site to Google online booking for our business. When we tried to disable it and remove it, we were only brought to a help page with false instructions. The only way to delete the account was by emailing their contact page. We have now deleted our account but there is still a broken link on our “Book Online” button on our Google business page. Extremely unhappy with this app, will definitely not be recommending it to anyone.

Could be so much better for the price

I think for the price per month it should be working flawlessly - it doesn’t - people were able to book me on my scheduled days off, I had 3 ladies turn up for the same appointment at the same time, no shows cards can only be charged once so if they don’t have funds it can’t be recharged which is pointless as we’re still out the money - I am prepared to stalk a no show daily because how dare they. Also a massive gripe of mine is the notifications not registering as read after I’ve both read them and acted on them, yes I have confirmed the booking - I do not need to see the red circle for the next 2 days! Just clear already 😭 I have massive OCD issues and I find this aspect the most triggering out of all my issues with the app - sort it out, no other app has this issue so it shouldn’t be a hard fix - invest your money into the app build please

Overall it’s helped us stop no shows except when they have an expired card? Or funds not available to charge them . The app only allows us to charge card once of a client doesn’t see this we have to call for payment . A few things I would like to see on each day a total cash card taken for each barber.
Codes for clients to work many still can’t use app too book lots of feedback from loyal clients who don’t receive them and still don’t.
Few glitches so we still add up each day and barber the old way as not always accurate especially if they pre pay .

4 stars - near perfect app

Very good booking app for barbers!
The only feature it lacks is being able to set different prices of the SAME service for different staff members.

What company do you know who offers customer service that is worse than them?

I have screenshots and videos of me sending over 20 messages back to back without being even answered by automated computer. I have been owed $270 from Booksy for over two weeks. They refused to pay me because they say stripe is responsible for their payments, I call stripe, stripe denies to have full access to my account saying that they are unable to do anything because Booksy is responsible and use a third-party..

Booksy out sources your clients to other shops when you’re not in the area and refers them to other barbers. There is no loyalty to the barbers only to generate more revenue on their platform. They fail to secure actual bank cards and allow people to set up with cash cards with no money on their account. You consistently get burned on cancellation fees you get forced to do no-show protection, and then your no-show protection money cannot be collected because they refuse to release your funds. so unprofessional on many levels if it wasn’t for my 165 5 star reviews, I would’ve left over a year ago. The only thing they have going for their interface everything else is absolute garbage.
