Best Reading App Out There
This program is awesome! Better than ABC Mouse or Homer in getting you child to learn how to read. We started with Reading Eggs when my daughter turned 2 and she is already reading full sentences. Every activity is fun and educational instead of being kind of silly and a waste of time like in some other programs. Plus it still gives kids the opportunity to build a house and buy things. Highly recommended!

Sound doesn’t work
My son absolutely loves this game but when we play it on the app the sound doesn’t work but it’s fine on the website.

User Interface
A lot of the text is way too small for iPhone. Some of the games don’t work to produce the correct answer, specifically bowling with the dinosaur as he always bowls into the middle lane and putting the correct number of zoo animals into their enclosures which doesn’t accept the animals being dragged over. With some improvements this app could be great but right now isn’t as good as some of the free ones are.

Freezes constantly and sound cuts out.
I’m on a free trial period and will not be purchasing a subscription until the app issues are fixed. The sound doesn’t work randomly and it is constantly freezing and stuck on the loading screen! It is so frustrating. My 4 and 3 year olds can not use this app on the iPad without it muting and freezing constantly. I have a brand new device and updated software and have followed all the troubleshooting advice but after reading hundreds of similar reviews I can see it is a common app issue.
How about instead of trying to make us email the developers, they actually listen to the consumers and fix their issues and admit fault. It’s such a shame because it is a fantastic educational app, just absolutely useless on iPads and iPhones.

Great!!!
My 4yr old loves this after a few weeks of playing it and could happily play on it all day!!
She sees it more as a game rather than actual learning which is all you want, as a parent.. She thinks it’s very fun, funny and engaging.
Initially she was a little annoyed it was so basic because she knew the letters and frustrated by the repetition of doing the games again and again before reaching the next level, but it didn’t last too long & now she’s on level 7 already in a couple of weeks 😊
The only problem that we have sometimes is the sound cutting out, so I then have to help her a little more to know what she needs to do because it doesn’t say what she needs to do. Usually it doesn’t last long after a couple of levels, or reloading the app. But still a mild annoyance. Well worth the price though! It’s really helping her learn to read well and quickly change through books at school which she recently started a month and a half ago. She’s focused on the reading section and we haven’t tried the maths section and my 14month old is a little young to try the younger section, but we’ll soon try them out too!

Good but needs work
Love the program but honestly getting tired of the sound not working on my phone. When I open it the intro video sound always works. Then when I click on the lesson there’s no sound. I’ve restarted my phone and it still wouldn’t work. It’s a day to day thing. One day it’ll work perfectly and the next day no sound. Can’t learn if the sound doesn’t work. With today’s technology and kids having tablets it would be helpful if this app worked properly so we don’t have to get out the laptop.

Excellent program
My kids absolutely love this program! My daughters reading level and confidence has increased dramatically since starting this program.
I like that you can do trial without putting in any payment information and that it is a full 28 days to give it a true try!
After the trial we decided to purchase the full family subscription, we have three children and they all love it. My youngest enjoys the games of the junior program while my other two use the reading eggs and mathseeds lessons and games, my oldest will soon be graduating into the reading eggspress program! Defiantly 5 stars!
My only suggestion (and its a small one) would be about the currency games in mathseeds, I personally feel that if you are going to use currency in a program offered to multiple countries it should be adapted to the currency of the country the costumer is in or simply just exclude it from the program, my children found it very confusing.

Love it but does need some minor corrections
We love the app but as a mother and a teacher I think on some of the activities like when it comes to selecting rhyming words or spelling a word if a child realizes they accidentally clicked the wrong letter or picture or accidentally put the letter in the wrong spot they should be able to correct it instead of it permanently staying there until you just purposely finish the spelling the word wrong or clicking the another picture for it to restart. Also having the capital Letter “Ii” being shown in two different ways (the one you typically see on a ABC line and the version that looks likes lowercase “Ll”) confuses the child especially when they are matching uppercase and lowercase letters like on the train game and they are thinking they are seeing two “Ll”. You show them the word/letter one way in a game and in a different way in a later game. Also cutting the /uh/ sounds off on the quick sounds and when deciding and blending the words holding the non-quick sounds out longer than .5 sec so they can hear the word. Also adding test for sight words, rhyming, ABCs, sounds like how there are road test for math seeds and the different topics would be really cool or just adding a section for sight words for them to keep practicing would be amazing. Other than those minor issues we love the game.

Amazing
My daughter has only been using this app for three weeks and her Leslie Level has already increased to almost 50. It isn’t something that you should only have them do independently, because parent support is important for encouraging perseverance within the more difficult tasks, but many of the activities are ones that are ones that she can do independently. The platform is user friendly and progresses well for developing reading fluency. Would highly recommend as both a teacher, Curriculum Specialist, and a mom of two.

Not US version
I can not use this any longer. I sat with my son and noticed the math seeds lesson 104 was teaching measurement. It was in meters. We live in the US and we use inches and feet. The reading had words that we do not use here in us or use a completely different word for an object. Such as they showed a picture of a baby bed. Here in US we call it a crib. They wanted him to choose the word cot. I struggled at first thinking what are they teaching. I started with chat. She had no clue what to do she said it would be fixed by today. I checked it’s NOT fixed. I then sent a chat question. It was ignored. 7 hours latter I sent a question asking why I was being ignored. Finally someone asked what was wrong. I explained my situation. I downloaded it from the App Store on my iPad. I have always lived in the US. He was clueless as well. Said he would send a mail to the editor. I called support got an answering machine left message and no one has called back. I’m no longer going to pay the 9.99 till it is fixed.
