Great but driving tests bad

ABC reading eggs used to be great and fun for my 6 year old brothers, but we found an error with the driving test. When one of them would go onto the driving tests, the actual lessons would be fine, but when they got to the race reward, the whole thing would malfunction. There were no stars, no jumps, no nothing, and the boys would basically just be sitting there watching the car drive forward. I’m not sure if it’s a problem with reading eggs, or just the iPad, because when we tried to play it on a different iPad, it worked! So, I’m not sure if the bug is only on some devices, or it’s just our device.

Wonderful Resource

I found this to be such a great help when I was homeschooling my children. They were able to pick up on lessons easily while having fun doing it.

So frustrating trying to make this work

I spent hours last night, just trying to get mathseeds with reading eggs to work on my iPad. Finally working now

Educational and fun

My child has been using reading eggs for a few years and it definitely introduces phonics and reading in a positive way. Holds attention because they’ve made it fun!

I have been using this since kindergarten

I am now in 4th grade and I still love reading eggs I have been using this app for 4 years. Reading eggs taught me how to read and spell words. I definitely recommend this app for your children. Their is also Reading Eggspress for older kids where you have more reading activities to do. And mathseeds where you learn math! Like your numbers and word problems. One thing I like about mathseeds is that their are funny videos. One last thing Fast phonics you learn your letters and words their are also games where you learn and play at the same time!

Phonics at homes

My son moved schools aged 5 post Covid, the new school was teaching using phonics which was a completely new idea for him, whilst his peers had been taught this way for at least 12 months. We had an invite from new teacher to discuss his baseline assessment within first 3 months. 1 month prior to this call we started using the app at home for an hour a day (30 mins morning and 30 mins night). After 6 months he had caught up, after 9 months was top of the class. This is a great app that follows the curriculum but also allows self paced learning. I’d of thought if you home school for early years this app is a god send. Thank you for developing it, it’s had such a positive impact!

Phonics convert

Still sound issues!

I see that many reviewers have posted this in the past and the sound cutting out is still is a massive problem. We have all the latest updates, did all the things about locking rotation, checking bell icon and it continues to be so frustrating for my daughter to have completed an almost perfect test and then bam - no sound. Sometimes she will have to replay 6 or 7 times and by the end she is just tapping to get through it, not paying paying attention, as bored of having to try and complete it yet again. It’s really such a shame as it is a great app and couldn’t believe how excited and engaged my 4 year old was to use it, but this major issue often makes it unusable and is now leading her to give up sadly.

Great…but…

This app has been great for my four year old and I find it has been a fun way to get him to learn to read. BUT…we have a glitch at the final quiz at the end of the 2nd stage/map. The quiz consists of 15 questions which he has been trying to do, however each time we get to the 6th question the sound stops working. I have tried everything from full shutdowns, reboots, deletion and reload, software update, but nothing has worked! We have only just renewed our subscription again and now it’s unusable as he cannot get past this quiz without any sound. Please help this frustrated mama.
