Wifi Connectivity Only

The IOS app does not work again. This happened about 3 years ago and it took more than a year for them to fix it. With the latest IOS update their app is broken again. When you call tech support they act like they are not aware of any issues. I might just replace my system with another system that works.

No APP Updates

Are you kidding me? Two years ago for that last update?
Worked one time on my phone then never again.
Downloaded app for MacBook from their site. Worked one time now crashes every time , have to force quit. Plus no Live View
What a waste

Cameras drop to frequently.

I had this system now for 5+ years. From installed date system has always dropped camera connections. You never know what camera is working. Reboot solves the problem for awhile but not that long. Remote access should at least give you a remote reboot option on the app. I have 8 cameras and not often do I see all functioning properly. App seams to work well. I don’t believe my issues are the app. I would not recommend the system I have installed.

This app is terrible!

Needs a lot of updating. The Lorex surveillance system itself is great, but monitoring the cameras with this app on your phone is useless! Forget about using the app for remote playback of your video feed, it’s not even worth trying. Complete waste of time!

Not working on cellular again - why are you refusing to update it ???

Please check the app, it only works on wifi and not cellular. Please fix . This was an expensive system, Lorex stopped supporting it a year or so after I bought it. I will never buy from Lorex and recommend everyone be careful before wasting their money !

I guess your products cannot keep up with technological changes. A Canadian company - so embarrassing - no support - I feel I have been robbed .

Not working after updating iOS 11

My Lorex lives view is not working since l update the iOS 11 with my lphone.

How about an update?

App doesn’t work anymore. Only works with WiFi. I’m not always in WiFi and I’m sure I can speak for a lot of other people as well. Please fix this issue!!!

Does NOT work

Keeps telling me to upgrade so I do and it still does NOT work. Waste of my money.

Needs work!

I just moved to a new home and the previous owner had the system installed. Setting up for remote viewing was easy but the app is very slow on playback. I have super high speed internet and the playback takes forever to view a few seconds of footage. The features on the app are a bit confusing since there is no description as to what they do. You just have to play with it and figure out. Also i don’t seem te get notification when it detects motion. I’m glad i can see my house when I’m away but how do i know when something is happening if i don’t get notified? Even if i go back to check the footage, it’s still going to take forever to play it back one by one. The playback timeline only shows you a little line so you don’t even know which one is what?? Would be nice to show a small animated thumbnail on the timeline so you can choose. Will this be improved or do i just have an old system?? I have 6 cameras but I’m considering replacing them for Nest or Arlo.
