Thank you for your feedback. The message just informs you that data is needed to use navigation in general. If data has been already downloaded for an area where you’re going or for an area you wish to use navigation, routing and turn by turn should work fine. So please download any and all areas you will be visiting. We understand your confusion and are working on improving the UI and a set of features in the app.

App works slow 2nd review
16June2018 which I must say is a good thing. Many other apps that I left reviews on never even wanted nor cared to respond, so I take the response as being the developer is serious about app performance against star ratings.
Will need to wait until developer does an upgrade to the app before giving it a work-out then a new star rating review.
Until then the app and I will sit and patiently wait.

Bought the full plan. 15June2018
So far not impressed at all with this app.
Stumbled on how to down load maps.
Struggled to have a map downloaded.
Then asked it to navigate from California to a special street in Pennsylvania and it refused to accept the street name. Instead it gave me the local courthouse. Then it estimated travel time at 38 minutes. From CA to PA in 38 minutes !

Thank you for using our app, full plan and special thanks for leaving a review! We are working on improving UI for downloading maps. Unfortunately search could have really worked better and we are also working on improving it. We are guessing that the downloading of the map you chose was not finished when you tried to navigate from CA to PA. The route algorithm tries to use all available data to reach a destination. This is why the app found only part of the route which takes around 38 minutes. Please wait when all the data is downloaded. It can take some time for processing data after downloading.
