Undercooked
I followed the cooking times specified after entering the thickness, cut, and desired medium rare. The problem is this app has no idea what your BBQ or even cook top temperature range is, for example; it suggested to cook my oyster blade at 'medium' heat (after previously heating the BBQ grills on hot for 5mins to get the ready). My steaks came off blue, after it suggested cooking a 3.5 cm on 'medium' for approx 4-5mins either side (I had a feeling it wasn't hot enough or long enough, but I trusted the app to give it a go). Best advice is to know your grill, and go with your instincts.Show lessCheeseyhate

Unsuitable for U.S. users
Needs a settings option for American measurement units. Also seems to ignore grill temperature.S. in U.S.
Good concept but not enough doneness options
Fantastic concept and I'd love to use it. However, I only eat my steak cooked blue, sometimes blue-black, but there are no options for this. Very disappointed!Appism

A great idea for an app. Medium-rare was beautiful however "well done" was waayyy off it needed at least another 10 minutes.Korotz

Used this app for the first time tonight and it was awesome. I followed their directions exactly and my steak was perfect.

This app is amazing. I am excited to see future versions though.
It could use cooking recommendations. Maybe an icon for cooking the steak in a skillet or on the grill. Also maybe show a tenderness scale.
Also needs to add more methods. Not just gas, electric, or BBQ.
It also needs more steak names/kinds. There is sirloin. It also needs top sirloin. More cut information.
